Came here for dinner since it's probably the only restaurant in Lindsay that's open after 6pm. True story.
When we came in there wasn't too many people. They had a good selection of food to choose from and prices are pretty reasonable.
Then it went downhill when we had to wait over half an hour for our food to come. I can understand if it was busy but it was pretty dead so I'm not so sure why it took so long to get our food.
Their wets naps were totally not wet. When we opened one it was totally dry which makes you wonder how long it's been there.
I definitely will not come back here. Wasn't too happy with the service. Food wise it was okay.

The local Howard Johnson receptionist Dillon told us that the best restaurant in Lindsay was the Grand. It was a family restaurant that has been serving Lindsay's pop of about 21,000 people for over 45 years. It's on the main drag and easy to find. We had the homemade spaghetti with fresh garlic tomato sauce and French onion soup. Both were succulent

Food was not good whatsoever. Tasted old and poorly cooked... It also took quite a while to come out. It was not busy. The staff seem quite kind, however I could hear them talking about personal matters from my table. The washrooms were clean. The drink menu was extensive - I think this place might be better to grab some finger food with friends and have a drink. Unfortunately not the place for me.

Our waitress was cheerful and attentive in a obvious busy evening, New Years. My father ordered Steak, he complained that is was quite tough and didn’t finish it. I looked at it and it was quite over done. He wasn’t a fan of his dessert commenting he had tasted better. For me, my meal was ok but I have never had a Greek salad undressed. I just thought it was unusual. I thought the price was reasonable but felt decor was tiresome and some updating was necessary.

Charlie and Amy catered our wedding in September and it was amazing. They were very accommodating with our requests for the cocktail hour, dinner and late night food options. They were great to communicate with and the prices were extremely reasonable. We had many comments on how delicious all of the food was. They were able to provide a vegetarian and gluten free option as well. Would definitely recommend their catering as well as the regular menu at the restaurant!

My daughter ordered 4 lbs wings we asked for 2lbs with sauce on the side and 2lbs with sauce on them when got home all wings had sauce on them and when trying to call the grand they weren't answering as a front line worker I expected better service.
Upon arrival the owner argued with me about the wings & said they weren't the medium wings but no one had eaten any of these but owner eventually gave me a new batch of plain wings. A

We ate on the family restaurant side rather than the pub. The food was really terrific. My friend had the burger and loved it and I had the bistro steak sandwich. My steak was cooked as requested and tender. Definitely try the cajun fries. They are a seasoned french fry and were good.
