I had breakfast here with a Friend on the holiday Monday.
The place was busy and the staff handled the rush professionally. There were no major waits for seating service or food despite the crowd.
Both food and atmosphere are up to Sunset Grill standard- it's a chain, and the breakfast is good, better than average. Portions are a good size, the quality of the food is consistent and the price is reasonable. The bill for two was about $30 tip in. My only complaint is that it was really warm inside; granted it was hot outside but turning up thenAC a bit would have been welcomed.
It's a good solid breakfast choice, convenient to local hotels and the highway; you won't go wrong stopping here for eggs and bacon.
I had 3 eggs with bacon, home fries, and toast today for $10 after tax and tip. The eggs were done right - over easy. The home fries were grilled not deep fried. And that bacon! So good. 4 pieces of perfectly cooked strips. A great start to my day!
Listen Rusty, your 5 year old shouldn't be moochin off of you on Father's Day. This place is awesome! The décor is pretty old and dusty and if it was on kitchen nightmares I'm pretty sure Gordon Ramsay would have something to say about it... but the food is great. Service is also awesome!

Veggie Delight and Salmon Eggs are amazing!!
Food: Ordered the sunset super with bacon and sausages with an extra serving, bacon cooked to crispy but not overcooked perfection. Pancakes were nice an fluffy as usual with every Sunset Grill I've visited. Eggs ordered scrambled well done and came exactly as ordered.
Service: Server Shelley was great and very attentive, made sure I had everything I needed from keeping my coffee topped up to even bringing me water before I asked for it (i think she noticed how fast I was eating).
Having to go to work on a Saturday morning sucks and eating here beforehand made my day start off better.
Love the hospitality and food here. They are consistent and the people are super amazing. It feels like a family tradition now to go every week or two.
Looked for brunch in Whitby and ended up in this place. Ordered two omelettes plus pancake. I have to say food are average and not to expect surprises, but portions are big and we got properly served and attended to.
