A group of four of us visited last night and were greeted at the front door by friendly staff. They asked if we had any food allergies that they should be aware of and offered us a drink immediately to which they spoke knowledgeably about their different wines and beers on tap.
Fast forward to dinner. Everyone was beyond satisfied with our server and meal. It was a bit pricey but well worth it as we all left satisfied. One of our party is a culinary “fine dining” professional and even made comment to the quality of the food and presentation. Our server was awesome with a great personality and sense of humour (I wish that I remembered his name, sorry!).
All in all, I’d go back again and encourage others to do so!
Chatterpaul's was awesome. Possibly the best three course meal I've ever had! Presentation was first class, flavour, spices & portions perfect. Ambience was intimate, warm & modern. Place was packed but not in a bad way. Left feeling satisfied but not stuffed�I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Amazing Food, and excellent service. Fusion of West Indian and Italian/Canadian Cuisine. Calamari is delicious, Mussels are the best I've had and the Mahi Mahi over Spinach filled ravioli in a lobster cream dill sauce was to die for actually so were the crab cakes. Best Birthday Meal I had in years . Creme Brulee was Decadnt 😋
Friends of ours joined us for dinner here last week. Nestled in a strip plaza in Whitby, Chatterpaul’s has a large outdoor tented patio as well as a very nice indoor dining area.
A great wine and cocktail selection.I would recommend the Tiki Mule. Gin, island punch and ginger beer.
To start we had an amuse bouche prepared by the chef, following with coconut shrimp and the bruschetta. The shrimp dish was 4 pieces of large shrimp. Tasted great but this could be had anywhere. Nothing stood out. The bruschetta on the other hand was the star of the appetizers!
Our mains consisted of the beef rib, which sat on top of a bed of creamy mashed potatoes along with roasted vegetables. The catfish special of the day came with 2 shrimp on top of a bed of rice. The pasta dish was a cheese stuffed tortellini with shrimp. None of these dishes missed. All were incredible.

Excellent food, shared the baked brie, escargots (happy hour has half price apps and wine!) and had the duck, my partner had the mahi and ravioli, and everything was superb. Great atmosphere too!
Me and my husband give this restaurant a try, Oh..we would says we fall in love with this restaurant right away .
Service, Environment, ALL the food are really surprised us .

Went here for dinner with a few friends that I’ve not seen since before COVID. The place was nice, welcoming and easy to find.
The Staff were great and polite.
We started off with the Fast Fry calamari - which is amazing.. make sure order that (if you like calamari). For dinner I had the curry Lamb & Shrimp dish that is served over pasta. It was really big and very good!
An amazing dining experience! You can really tell everyone from the servers to the chefs, really care about making your meal the best it can be. Crab cakes, lamb curry, braised beef, everything tasted amazing! It is very clear how much effort is put into every ingredient on each item in the menu. Everything has such a fresh and unique flavour and at a very reasonable price. Looking forward to dining here again, thank you!
Chatterpaul's is definitely added on our list of favorite restaurants #1. The chef has mad/delicious kitchen skillz from the presentation/plating to the taste fantastic 😋😋😋😋 everybite starter to dessert... I was humming hmmm hmmm good. The atmosphere warm and cozy. The staff showcased excellent customer service, very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They greeted us and celebrated our special occasion. Thank you Jessica who took care of us. You were amazing. 👍🏾👏🏽
