Always Good. I've been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. Food is always extremely fresh, service is excellent, and the place is spotlessly clean. I recommend The Villa for all sushi lovers. Love the baked villa roll!
For the town of Whitby, I like it. They even have uni once in awhile. I moved from downtown Toronto where excellent sushi places are plentiful. Service is unfortunately not consistent but it's close by our place and I found the quality is better than most places in Whitby.
My favourite! Love this place, and order from here all the time. Service is fantastic, both in the restaurant and out. Once they called us back after we ordered in to check our order bc it wasn't our usual! LOVE the gyu don, the salmon, the negi mayaki...cooking tables provide a true feast!
Tradition. The staff and management at "The Villa" quickly won my wife and I over after moving from the west coast (not a small challenge given the availability of excellent fresh and plentiful sushi in Vancouver). The food is great (the Villa roll is excellent as is the sushi dinner b and maki set). But what really does it for us is the company of Kyle (manager), Fenny, and gang. They keep us coming back through their attentive and friendly service.
A great pit stop leaving TO, or a great spot to stop and relax and have a great sushi dinner.
Never really had anything here I didn't like. Try the sushi pizza. So good!
Great sushi place, warm saki, tempanyaki tables...Spider Roll is amazing, the bento boxes are quite tasty too
I have been there twice for dinner, both times at the teppanyaki grill. Very reasonable prices and tons of food. You won't be sorry.
Went out for a nice night with my friends. Had dinner at the teppanyaki table, where you're sat with other people. The chef puts on a show while cooking. Your order consists of salad, soup, your main course cooked on the flattop and ice cream for dessert. We felt a little rushed just after dessert arrived as we were presented with the bill and had to pay.
Food was fresh and tasty. We had Sushi dinner set and tempura box. Fishes were fresh, salad was excellent so was the Miso soup. Hope to try their Tepenyaki soon.
Had my birthday dinner here with about 15 people. We had such a great time and enjoyed the cook doing all he could to make our dinner special! The service was amazing and staff were very accommodating and friendly! We ordered Teppanyaki and were amazed at how fun and good the food was! I definitely recommend coming here!
We love going to The Villa once or twice per month. The food quality and prices are good. You get a decent portion for the price on their bento box lunch deals. They also took away their dreaded service charge which made us return to the establishment. No complaints. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
