From the moment I walked in and was greeted with a warm bonjour from the owner to the delicious Quiche Lorraine (buttery, flaky crust and creamy, cheesy goodness inside) I chose for my meal I knew I was in the perfect place for a delicious, leisurely lunch. I have been to Nice and the warmth from the owner and the sounds of the french language brought me back to memories of a little bistro I had visited when I was there. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks to the ladies at Maison Blanc who recommended Nice Bistro.
My first meal last night and it was superb - the best Steak au poivre I've eaten on ages. Good wine and fantastic friendly staff. We shall be going again soon, merci beaucoup Nice Bistro!
A great trip to south of France! Ingredients are tasteful, cooking is perfectly balanced and reveals the great flavours of the plates. And the service is really friendly, a great place!
We went for a lunch date with my husband. We felt like we were transported to Nice, France in a small Bistro. The place was very clean. Even the plants were like the ones that you would see in the Mediterranean France.The escargot was really good and everything that we ate was delicious.
We loved the wine and the lady that served the food was a delight to talk to. This is a family owned place and you can feel the love for the food and the business in every detail.
Finally now that things are going back to a new kind of normal more people would have the opportunity to go and enjoy such great food right here in Whitby

Had dinner here, for the first time, on Friday night. Very quaint and relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Bouillabaisse and it was wonderful. Tasty tomato broth but not too heavy. Serving size was reasonable...quality over quantity! Really appreciated the fact that they source some of their ingredients from local vendors/producers. Would definitely recommend.
Such a cosy and lovely bistro! I had a lunch date here with my husband. The lady serving us was so sweet and friendly she elevated our whole dining experience. The food was good. We had the Norwegian Smoked Salmon which was delish! Followed by Poulet crepe and Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli. Very flavourful and the quantity was more than we could finish off there so we had to pack some to go. Would definitely recommend this place for a wholesome dining experience.

What a sweet place ❤️ my boyfriend and I were passing through Whitby and just needed a place to grab lunch, and this bistro had such amazing reviews. After visiting, I can totally understand why! The food was amazing, and so was the service. A real family run business with the cutest atmosphere. I got the butternut squash ravioli, while my boyfriend got the jambalaya crepe - literally both unreal! Would definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again!
We had a pleasant evening dinning in. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
