Had been to this place recently. Their seating was great. Service was good. Liked the ambience too. Tried out their-
Chicken wings (in barbeque sauce)- Tasted pretty sweet and a bit much saucy. 3/5
Spaghetti with meatballs- The quantity was great. Taste was pretty good. 4/5
Overall a good place.
Really loved the service here, and the food for the price is pretty worth it, in my opinion. For one spaghetti, it's roughly $15 ish, but it includes tea, ice cream, and soup or salad. It really fills you up. The spaghetti tastes great, no complaints.
A consistently good meal; service can be hit or miss, but you always know what to expect with the food. Great value for Whistler & a decently cheap bottle of wine too! Generous portions & a good price.
After playing and walking around Whistler our tummy was already shouting for carbs. For lunch, we decided to eat in The Old Spaghetti Factory. It was very warm and cozy inside the restaurant. I love their antique decorations and stained glass lamps. Our server was very friendly and cheerful. He was kind enough to give us directions and what to do in Whistler.
Have no idea why this place doesn't have a higher like percent. It's amazing. We've been in whistler for 4 days and been there 3 times already. Everything is good and the staff is awesome!!
It's exactly what you think it's going to be. We don't expect any more than that. As much fresh bread as you wish, pleasant staff, and "good" pasta. Just don't order a dinner salad and you'll be fine.
What you'd expect from a family restaurant - although I always have high expectations from OSF... Like in the good 'ol days when the gastown location maintained high standards. Whistler: of our 2 meals one of our entrées had pasta that was completely overcooked. The service was friendly - but there was an obvious lack of training. I had to repeatedly ask for refills because our server didn't notice our drinks were out. Every dish that was brought out was put in front of the opposite person etc... I'd go back - but for a restaurant in such a high calibre area of the world - one would expect some basic training in restaurant/service etiquette
First time @ Whistler Location. I have always liked my visits at the Old Spaghetti Factory's . The Whistler location is as good as the original.Service was A1 thanks to Jordan tonight. Food was great. Just a great night over all. AAA+++ Will be back.!!
Kickin it old school. Been goin to the old spaghetti factory since i was a kid. so a visit to the whistler location was just another excuse for comfort food. the dishes here aren't authentic italian but still alot of memories nonetheless.
A comfortable place. The thing we always like about the Old Spaghetti Factory is that it is comfort food and a nice atmostphere. I've grown up on the Old Spaghetti Factory in the States (it is a different chain from Canada, now) and we love it. Don't expect the same. It will be similar, but different plates. However, it is always a nice place to eat in Whistler (or Vancouver, etc.).
BEWARE: The open times are incorrect. We just went in at 9:30 and were told they had closed for the night. The only explaination was that they were ... closing. Staff has become less gracious, but don't let that deter you from good food!
