Hollyburn Country Club is an exclusive country club located on a hill in the British Properties of West Vancouver. We were very fortunate to receive an invitation from a member to attend the New Year's Eve Bash at Hollyburn Country Club as it is normally open to members only.
This was a family friendly event with an early 9pm countdown to the New Year, and it was truly a bash! Buffet dinner which included some premium quality seafood, a photo booth, a dance floor with a disco ball spinning above, a DJ, and pyrotechnics. It was our daughter's first time dancing on a dance floor and she had the time of her life on that dance floor.
Even after the 9pm countdown, our daughter stayed and danced about an extra half hour on the dance floor. Then we went back to Grandma's house and stayed up for Countdown #2...the midnight countdown.
I do have to admit that the service could have been better. The people working there didn't come around to collect our plates as frequently as they do at other buffets that we've been to. Overall though, we had a fabulous time and if we ever get invited back to Hollyburn Country Club again, we'll be there in a heartbeat. It was an awesome way to ring in the new year. Happy New Year everyone!

Location: Less than 1 minute drive away from Exit 11 ( 15th St. Exit) on Highway 1, and just across the street from the West Vancouver Fire Department.
It’s a great club in one of the best neighborhoods in town. The lounge food and vibe was amazing with a perfect view of the tennis tournament.
Offers a great family experience, with many great memories made here. Hollyburn is a perfect place for kids and teens, offering an assortment of things to do including: bouncy castles, pool inflatable, movie nights, child care, a youth spot, variety of fitness classes, sports and a fine arts centre offering private lessons. Stunning view, conveniently overlooking Vancouver with delicious brunch and dinner. Member services staff are an absolute delight to talk with and very knowledgable about the daily activities being offered. Beautiful facility!
My Dad told me that when he joined Hollyburn in the early 1970s that he had a choice to by life insurance or join a health. I am happy he chose Hollyburn and that my family has been exposed to sport. Mind you, it was only $600 when he joined.
Well organized club variety of food and drinks and lovely stuff to shop and if you love tennis that s the coolest destination to meet good players and practise your hobby level up you r skills
It's a club for LIFE. A great motto and very appropriate. I've been a member for 40 years as of this month. My kids were members since they were born.
It isn't cheap to join but the long term benefits are definitely there.
This weekend I was at the oddlum brown tennis tournament.
This was my first time at the club it was beautiful, but what made my experience truly special was our waiter Tyler.
It was incredibly busy but his personality shined against all odds.
If Tyler could serve me every time I’d live at this place.

One of the best private country clubs! Been a member for years and it has everything you need. But unfortunately too often when we want to have a nice relaxing dinner it gets ruined by loud kids screaming and the parents do absolutely nothing to stop them!! Something needs to be done about that!!
Lovely club located in one the most beautiful areas in West Vancouver. Great turf with bouncy castle for kids to play. Delicious food and lovely staff! Very family friendly!
