The view from the patio is breathtaking. There is a gentle calmness in the surroundings disturbed only by the sound of hull or squawking of the gulls. I ordered BC salmon burger and you can tell that the burger is great when you do not need to add any condiments. It was cooked to perfection and the taste stayed with me for hours. Peter, our server, a nice and gentle fellow was a bit overwhelmed apparently by the comedy show going on on the patio but he held his nerve and made the evening memorable. My friend ordered a pizza (I don't remember which one) but he was quite happy with it. He offered me a bite but I was in no mood to interfere with the flavour of the salmon burger in my mouth. Can't comment on the wine selection cuz I was not in a mood to drink that day. Maybe next time.
Bay Moorings Bar & Grill is known for beautiful waterfront views and a busy outdoor patio in the summer. Recently taken over by a new chef & owner who was born in Italy, you are able to taste some creative pizzas as well as the classic bar & grill dishes with an Italian twist. The Tuesday special with all pizzas at only $12 sounds like a decent deal.
Lovely place, great food and atmosphere. Portion size is just right and quality is great. Definitely will be back. The view just makes the experience incredible.

We stopped in for a quick bite after a long trip while waiting for the ferry. Server was excellent, food was great quality and quick, and it all hit the spot!
The food here was absolutely excellent! I and my friends ate delicious meatballs, homemade Lasagna,Spaghetti alle Vongole, fillet of Salmon, eggplant Parmigiana and for dessert we ate a amazing panna cotta! All of this was very very delicious!

After this experience I love Italian food!
We went for a classy New Year's Eve dinner and weren't disappointed. I had a spinach scallop salad while my husband had the lobster bisque and both of our entrees (ahi tuna and steak respectively ) were decadent. We are still talking about our meals the day after. Only POSSIBLE & tiny adjustment would be to have more outgoing guest service- mention specials when guests arrive and offer to take our jackets. Great experience, quiet and romantic location. We will be back for the patio in the summer !
Nice place. 4 lamb chops and a good Greek salad for $14? That's a good deal. The Tipiti dip with roasted red peppers and feta is great. I'll be back :-)
