I enjoyed a wonderful lunch this afternoon at the St. George Restaurant. I had the pork schnitzel. It was quite good and served very hot. My friends had the chicken schnitzel. They also enjoyed their meal. The restaurant was clean and spacious. There was lots of parking. The restaurant is close to St. Jacob's Farmers Market. I placed my credit card in the picture so you can see the size of the schnitzel. Good food, reasonable prices.
There's a NEW CHEF now (he started in October 2017) and the food is absolutely sensational! We had a gathering of 4 and we tasted each other's food. Oh, my! I can say this is my favorite restaurant in Kitchener-Waterloo! Can't wait to go again. Actually, I am planning to go tonight. The only downside is ... the portions are HUGE. Really, they are too big for a normal person. But because is so good, you'll try to eat everything... I recommend you share or ask to take half home.
Friendly service, fantastic menu options and overall a warm atmosphere. Owners are welcoming and friendly with kids. Lots of seating and parking. If you are a fan of fish, I'd recommend bass as it's grilled to perfection yet moist. Stewes and grill meat are a definite hit and come with a generous portion of sides. Won't be disappointed.
This restaurant has a huge variety of tasty food from parts of Europe, the service at the restaurant is amazing and very friendly, always smiling. The restaurant is very well kept and clean, nothing but a great experience. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back for more food!
Lovely dinner yesterday. Interesting menu, wonderful meal that was perfectly served by our waiter. Didn't get a drinks menu but a glass of cognac was only $4.5. I had the SHOPSKA SALAD and that was really the best salad I had in Canada. We also had SERBIAN TRADITIONAL PARTY PLATTER (FOR 2) and that could easy feed 3 people. We had lots of meats to take home:-)
Got takeout from here for the first time. Must say I am very impressed! The burger was massive and the fresh bun was a nice change from the ordinary. People that work there are very friendly also. This place needs some exposure come try for yourself.
Easy access steps away from the highway. Free parking. Very clean place. Lots of choices from menu at reasonable prices.
Delicious food! Friendly staff! Serves traditional Serbian fare and other dishes. We really enjoyed our experience. The tartar sauce is fantastic! Beautiful, well-kept restaurant provides a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
