The Pub On King

Pretty decent food options for around $7 each! The burger was filling and we enjoyed our meal. However, the music is loud and it is quite dark as it is more of a bar/pub type restaurant and the line is usually long to get inside on certain days so just be prepared for that. Overall, no complaints as you do get what you pay for in terms of price and quality.

Update on July 7th 2022. I was in the area so we decided to come for dinner. I went to the bar area to ask for a cold glass for my beer or to have one chilled, and a female staff member said that they don't have and left the bar area. Another female staff member came and I asked her the same.... her answer right away was "of course" I can do that for you. Her name is Cora. I/we were lucky to have her assisting us at the table. She was very friendly, professional and helpful. She provided great suggestions and helped me by explaining the menu items and to make a choice. Cora was just exceptional with my wife, my 2 and a 1/2 years old son and myself. Kudos to her for her awesome attitude and personality. The food as always, it was amazing and delicious, and as I mentioned before, with their prices, you just can't go wrong. When in the area. The atmosphere is awesome and their food is delicious and the prices are even better. Their staff are super friendly, helpful and polite. The Pub on King is a must visit pub. A real gem in the heart of KW Area. Very well preserved victorian style pub with a good selection of beers and delicious traditional English pub food.

A fun bar to hit for students at local universities. As long as you know what to expect, you'll have a good time. Around 10PM some tables are moved out of the way and the area around the bar becomes a dance floor, and the bar gets very loud and rowdy, packed with universities students looking to have a good time. It can get very packed in this area, but the main seating area is always away from the action so you always have a spot to go if you need to take a step back from the crowd. Very cheap drinks for university students looking to get some alcohol without breaking the budget.
