Great Bao bun options.
Tried the different chicken flavors.
1 less star because of the service.
We ordered some version of the spicy fries, which very cold and soggy when we got them.
I complained, they said they put a special sauce that makes them soggy but they'll get us a new batch.
The new batch NEVER came! We sat for it, the existing fries went colder than before.
But all in all- do visit to try the Bao options!
I've been to bao quite a few times over the past few years (the proof is in the pictures) and man, it's just delicious. The service can be pretty slow because they're always so busy, so definitely expect a wait time. I've had the korean BBQ garlic chicken, dynasty duck, crackle belly, and five spice belly. They're all pretty good but my go-to is the chicken katsu. It's a little basic but it's must-try.
Nice sandwiches. Chicken katsu and spicy pork are excellent 😋 .
pricey though as you might need 2 of them to feel full. Hope they can increase portion size or adjust pricing for future 🙂
The place is located at the BACK of the building fron the main street.
The baos were good as they had a lot of options and flavours. 2 baos per person and a poutine was plenty!
Due to the construction going around the area, I almost didn't find it, but it wasn't their fault. Baos are delicious, the duck and the chicken katsu were my favorite. I also had the pork belly which was good as well. Would go back again to try more!!
