(Got tired of waiting for Brenna to post it here) Picture it...January 6th 2018. We are headed to the Grand opening of a new charcuterie in Waterloo, Swine and Vine . From the moment you walk in, you are greeted not only by the friendly staff, but also the faint aroma of aged cheese, meat and wine. The menu is both diverse yet easily traversed by those with a less adventurous palette ...from smoked brisket to beet root and goat cheese terrine to my fave, halloumi, it is a palate pleasing adventure from beginning to end. I am a picky eater and I can honestly say that each course blew my mind and I could not wait for the next course. Jill Sadler and Micall Guy are ever the fantastic hosts, everyone from the Sommelier to the waitstaff, is knowledgeable and forthcoming and so darn pleasant it was amazing...like a big family dinner. We had some questions about some items on the menu as well as the wine selection and the response was amazing. Our tastes and price were both taken into consideration before price which is refreshing and appreciated. All the recommendations definitely complemented our food choice perfectly. My wife and I stopped by for lunch today. I have to say the food was fantastic. The brisket and charcuterie were out of this world. I highly recommend the Swine & Vine and will definitely be back.
