I want to document that the Zomato rating for this establishment is 2.8 as I write this review because I predict it will be much, much higher with time and more reviews. I dropped in here over the holidays on a whim as I was walking about enjoying the holiday evening atmosphere. A really good experience in every way,...cant thank everyone there enough. This place is in the funky, oh so upscale Trounce Ally,...its like a tiny mashup of our ChinaTown and Vancouvers Robson Street with a sprinkle of FanTan Ally vibe thrown in there. Great layout inside this place, good staff, young and possibly learning on the fly when I was there but nontheless competent.
The food was delicious, fantastic flavours and quality ingredients, a good sized portion I will add with a delectable small side of pickled dacon and other vegtables pieces. Oh man,...Im really thinking Ive stumbled onto a place I can enjoy regularily.
Three cheers for Park's Kitchen.

Great experience! We ordered a nice assortment of Japanese (mango roll, sashimi salmon, las vegas roll) as well as japchae and teriyaki chicken. As for seating, from past experience, do not sit at the 4-person table beside the door. The breeze will ruin your dining experience every time the door opens. Also, the seats along the communal table in the middle of the restaurant have an abnormally small surface area. I guarantee you the majority of the population's bottoms would spill over the sides of the seat and you would not have an enjoyable meal. So basically we ended up changing tables twice during our time there. I would go back to try more of their sushi rolls though! Their prices seem lower than average in the touristy area of Trounce Alley which was a bonus!

Underrated Korean place that we went to on a whim. It's got a great selection of ramen, and the sashimi salad is something I never had before. It was great!

The restaurant atmosphere and interior is on point! Probably a cool place to take your date if she/he wants asian food. But the food was alright. Normally, I don't like to eat Korean food when eating out but my parents wanted to try this place so we went. The food mostly were too sweet. We had two noodle dishes, sweet & sour pork and one rice dish. All of them were on the sweet side. A little less sugar and a little more seasoning would have brought out the flavors of each dish better.

Fresh ingredients, well prepared. Nice interior. Friendly staff. Very well priced. One of the better Japanese restaurants I've been to, with prices similar to take-away.

The place bring about the vibe of a traditional Japanese and Korean style infused. The food is great with the price i think it's a little bit on the higher side and I had soju which is amazing bythe way. The service guy who is there is amazing as he went out of his way to assist us. Love it.

Been meaning to try this place for some time. Had the lunch special, which is an excellent value for the money, with generous portions. I had Beef Bulgogi, and my friend had the house special with pork. His was spicy, and honestly I was a little jealous. Will definitely have that next time. The kimchi was really good too, with a strong apple or pear flavor that I really liked. We sat on the patio, which I regretted... Probably best to eat inside.

Servers were great. Nice decors. Bulgogi and black bean ramens were tasty. Takoyaki was creamy. Gizzard side dish was good, too. Just one downside: seasood ramen was salty. I don't recommend this particular dish.

My favorite restaurant in Victoria. I don't have much experience with Korean food, so I wouldn't be able to say how traditional the dishes are. Whoever I must say that there wasn't a single dish that I have regret ordering (been there 5+ times). Aside from the food, I love the fact that the staff doesn't rush us to finish the food like most restaurants here. I enjoy expending time talking to friends after eating, and most places you get this urge to just eat pay and leave (mostly a culture difference between where I'm from and Canada, which I understand) It's my family's go to place to celebrate 🙂

What a fun find! I had read a number of bad reviews for this fun little place in Trounce Alley. Undeservedly so, I might add. We were a little overwhelmed with the substantial selection of menu items. Yes, pink black or black pink or whatever was playing pretty loudly and the lights were flashing pretty nightclubly (probably not a word) but, the food arrived very quickly, the service was decent, and it was very tasty! My dining partner had bibimbap and I had a huge bowl of ramen loaded with kimchi. We also decided to try the chicken wings and were delighted with him monstrous plate of chicken! Sure, it's getting a little expensive to have lunch out, but it was a fun experience that I didn't mind paying for.

Korean and japanese cuisine restaurant, wont say perfect but its decent set up and food is near to authentic. We tried Korean and japanese cuisines, and they were both very good. They did serve side dishes but kimchi was missing, upon asking they said its in menu, we can order if we wish to. The staff are very friendly and good service. Its quite busy during weekend.

Went here for the first time and it was phenomenal. Best fried chicken my wife and I have ever had (in Canada anyway). The mushroom ramen and beef teriyaki were also delicious. The staff were friendly and polite and the atmosphere was really neat too. We'll definitely be back to try it again!

One of my work colleagues mentioned about this place and decided to check it out since I was in the area and needed a large meal to refuel for the long cycling home. The food hands down is amazing. The Japchae was delicious and the portion was huge. The fried chicken gizzards were a home run with large roasted garlic cloves which was a nice added touch. It would've been nice to down a bottle of soju to go with the chicken gizzards but the thought of riding my e-bike home under the influence doesn't seem like a hot idea. The server was sweet enough to get me a compostable takeout container so I could eat the rest in the comfort of my home. The ambiance and decorum is nice, kinda reminds me of a k-room (karaoke) feel with the disco lights and televisions blasting Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet, Everglow, Mamamoo and EXID. (Personally I'm more of a SNSD fan but that sort of sets my age by admitting that 😳). Service was fine for the most part until the end when I needed to find someone ASAP to pay for the bill and leave. I'm sure they would've let me sit back and relax which normally would be fine as I don't like restaurants rushing one out with the bill while you're still eating but in this case I had to leave or else my bike would've been locked up inside of MEC. Also bummed that the complimentary water was warm which isn't so cool on a hot sweltering summer weekend. All in all, I was satisfied with the place and I will be back.
