Stayed at sparkling hill for our 14th anniversary and had a food credit voucher. Had a bottle of Gewurtzimminer, the cauliflower spot, duck confit and lamb. The cauliflower was well seasoned and spiced and the duck was absolutely delicious! The Lamb was okay, a bit over cooked to my liking and wasn’t very flavourful. I don’t usually have dessert but the coffee creme brûlée was to die for! Service was good as well. Quite pricy but with a credit voucher definitely worth it!
We also had complimentary breakfast and the buffet was one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve had 👌
Food was delicious. Ordered the confit duck tortellini main course and it was absolutely flavourful. Their Caesar salad was okay. J had the lavender roasted duck and he loved it down to the last bit. For dessert we had cheesecake and the presentation was dramatic. Too bad I didn’t take a photo. The dessert was a wipeout. Service was excellent. Unobtrusive yet attentive.

I had heard from friends that the dining here was disappointing considering that it was at Sparkling Hill and so expensive, but that was not my experience at all. My wife and I went on a gift certificate to cover the $150 three-course meal for the two of us, and we were both very pleased by the experience. The service and the ambience were nice, although it did seem a bit odd that the tables were set up so close together with so much empty space in the restaurant when we got there at 8:45 PM.However, the thing that I was mostly concerned about, and ended up being very impressed by, was the food. My starter was the Roasted Butternut Squash Harvest Salad, and it was fantastic, loaded with very nice flavour. My main was the Beef Tenderloin with Blue Cheese Crust, and a caramelized red onion and potato tarte, along with market vegetables. Everything on the plate was delicious, and I keep wondering how these upper scale restaurants make their vegetables so incredibly flavourful. Both my wife and I were stuffed, so we took our desserts up to our hotel room, but my apple sticky toffee pudding was good as well.Maybe they have been making some changes in recent months to improve over what other people have called bland food? I don't go to $40-$50 per dish restaurants very often, but when I do, this is the type of meal I expect to get. It may not have been a life-altering experience, but it was a great one. Based on my meal and compared with eating around Vernon, I would say that this is the best restaurant in the Vernon area, which it should be considering the cost.
My wife and I went to Peak Fine last night for dinner. We're staying at Predator Ridge for our honeymoon and decided to make a reservation. It was as close to perfect as you can get in a restaurant, even with a couple hiccups. It's how they were handled that speaks of the customer service commitment. Rob was our server and he was phenomenal. He was speedy and efficient with drink service. My prime rib came over cooked, but he apologized multiple times, and had them redo a new cut ASAP. The PR was great, her tofu pasta was admittedly delightful as well, and I'm not a tofu fan. I've read a lot of negative reviews on this restaurant and honestly, as an experienced fine diner, they're just plain wrong. We will absolutely come back again, and next time we'll stay at Sparkling Hill as well. It was first class!
This time, last year I was celebrating New Year at Sparkling Hill resort in Vernon. I had the chance to visit this resort when they first opened during the spring and I fell in love!!! Like seriously, a resort this style in BC is rare, even better it's only a 4 hours drive from Vancouver. Or you know, you can just take a private heli and land like uh, right on top of the resort. Make an entrance, why not.
One of the most beautiful places in the valley to have lunch. The view overlooking Okanagan Lake is outstanding. A fine dining experience with a casual and relaxed feel as some diners enjoy their meals in their spa robes.
The service was exceptional as was the food. It's such a pleasure to visit this resort even if it is just for lunch!
Amazing food and exceptional service. One of the best fine dining experiences I have ever had. Worth every penny spent. Have no clue why people post bad reviews. They must not have any idea of what fine dinning is.
Peakfine has very delicious foods either in breakfast or dinner. The servers were accommodating. The steam and sauna were great and has different style. I recommend this place for relaxation.
I'm not sure where the negativity comes from in previous comments. Maybe they've got their act together. We've had two exquisite 3 course meals in this restaurant! Delicious blend of flavours on the palate. Fair portions for fine dining, c'mon this isn't Denny's.
Food was good just make sure you are not to hungry. Paying (a lot) for quality not quantity.
We came here for the breakfast which was included with our stay and everything was delicious. Large portions with a variety of drink selections. They have a good selection of breakfast including vegetarian and dairy alternatives.
We also came for dinner which was very enjoyable. The food tasted fresh with good flavours, service was friendly and prompt. Drinks were also delicious. Dinner was a bit pricey but worth the experience
For a restaurant during COVID, it's pretty nice. Amazing staff. Great lamb!! But I definitely miss pre-covid buffet, drinks, steam, and tea room. Hope COVID ends soon.
Wasn’t expecting much in terms of vegan options, but was happily blown away! The breakfast tofu scramble was amazing, the root vegetable lunch option was fantastic, and the dinner menu was absolutely phenomenal. The king oyster starter was actually life changing, I will be dreaming of it!! The staff was kind and accommodating as well. All in all a 5 star experience!
The restaurant to visit when staying at the hotel, we’ve had breakfast and dinner here. All times we’ve been the place is clean, the staff friendly, and food comes out at a reasonable time. I prefer breakfast because half the guests can show up in the robes provided to hotel guests. Dinner is delicious, although portions are rather small.
The vegetarian options weren't that exciting. But, the presentation of the food and service was absolutely amazing. We had our breakfast and dinner here and they gave us a surprised anniversary delight on the house.

Super nice experience at both dinners and also a la carte breakfast was amazing. Food was very nice presented, served hot and greatly timed. Probably one of the best steaks I had at a restaurant. Totally amazed with our stay! Thanks for everyone who made our stay absolutely unforgettable and a big shout out to Daniel who made sure we were looked after at all times. Can’t wait to come back again.
We had the opportunity to stay at the resort and to treat ourselves to a nice dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The Google rating put our guard up or maybe lowered our expectations. Not so! The experience was outstanding!!
Our dinner included our appetizers which were very well presented, carefully crafted with texture and complementary flavours taken into account. The mushroom "scallops" were delicious and the beets with salmon exceptional.
Entrees continued our adventure with the rack of lamb made over-the-top delicious with the demi-glaze. The rissoto (daily flavour) was a hearty second plate to the table.
Sadly we chose to not take pictures and to be in the moment. Glad we did that but the rating for the restaurant needs to be much higher. Our compliments to the staff and kitchen for the excellent dinner! Keep up the great work!
