When you walk in, you're greeted by a neat, crisp atmosphere and large art pieces hanging on the wall. Though the restaurant itself is anything but eclectic, the menu on the other hand is. The word "Fusion" is definitely played upon as the menu offers everything from sashimi (raw fish) to classic burger and fries. Though it makes for something for everyone, once you find the thing you want there is little variation within that category.
I started with an edamame seasoned with their own flavouring of sesame oil and spice. It was a refreshing take on the traditional salted soy beans, and has a nice kick of spice. As the main I had the tuna rice bowl. The plating was very appealing, however I would be remiss to note that the pickled ginger and wasabi was placed on top of the rice in the bowl. This essentially meant that I had to eat around them like an intrusive satellite in an otherwise delicious meal. Though this dish was in essence everything you put in a sushi roll, but plated in a bowl, honestly the ginger and wasabi added nothing to the dish, so it would have been nice if it were offered on the side, as an option, instead of placed like an island to navigate around.
Interesting there is no sushi on the menu, which I found odd given the Asian hint in their name, decor and menu. However unless they were to give their menu more focus, that's probably for the best anyhow.
The food was amazing!!! Excellent service, chef came to our table to see how we enjoyed the food. I would highly recommend.
Excited. I'm going to have dinner tonight at Bamboo Beach Fusion Grille. Will probably have my fave, the tuna sashimi bowl with extra everything, no rice.
This is an awesome dish and I pretty much have it every time I'm in Vernon.
The owners are great, the staff are great. You won't be disappointed.
My wife had the roll your own sushi and it was amazing I had the wonderful curry and tofu. Would eat here again. Lots of vegetarian choices.
Lunch. Went there for lunch with 3 co workers. This was our second choice as the first place was packed and we only had an hour. The food was fantastic. All 4 of us had something different and no one had any complaints. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Salad. Phenomenal. Highly recommended.
AMAZING!. Absolutely loved our dinner here a few weeks ago! My husband and I were up visiting my parents who live just outside Sicamous, and we love heading to Vernon for a dinner out!
We are from Calgary... and we dine out a lot! (At least once or twice a week). He had the steak, and said it was the best steak he had ever eaten! We also had oysters and spring rolls to share as a starter - Amazing!
The atmosphere was great - but what I loved the most, if the chef actually came out after our meal and asked us how our dinner was! Who does that anymore?? It was so sweet, you could tell the chef actually puts attention and passion into her food.
We will be back!
Simply amazing. Everyone in our party was more than satisfied. We had tempura, vegetarian special and curry soba noodles (one with tofu and one with chicken). They are also very accomodating and patient about dietary requirements. The front-end staff was great (Amanda) and the chef even came out for a quick hello.
Excellent. Both the food and service were the best. I had the curried soba noodles with tofu. The serving size was large so I was able to take some home. Today I added some pasta and julienned veggies, and made two more very delicious meals from the leftovers! All four of us were happy with our meals and the service. They were friendly and efficient and at the end, the chef came and ensured we were satisfied.
Eclectic Menu. This is our first visit to this restaurant and we were very pleased. I had the tempura set. It came with miso soup, crispy hot tempura, a beautiful salad and a bowl of rice. My husband had the shrimp dim sum which came with a salad and bowl of rice. The menu is so varied...and if everything else is as good as what we had today....this is certainly an exciting place to eat. We came early for lunch and by noon they were turning customers away. Don't miss this little gem!

The food was excellent. A lot of Gluten Free options. Service was slow and not kid friendly, but the food was worth the wait.

Excellent restaurant. Service was quick. Started with the shrimp tempura which had a delicious light batter. Then had the Chicken Curry Soba which was amazing. Large helpings, I could only get through half. Pricing is a little bit higher but worth every dollar.
Looking at their name, it’s hard to see what is being fused here. Digging into their menu, one discovers west coast dishes seasoned with a Japanese flair. I had the fish and chips. The batter was super crispy and a hint of tempura (of course) and the fries had a light airy crunch. The sauces also had an Asian flavour. Not your garden variety vinegar and ketchup. We also had the tuna steak, ahi tuna grilled rare with a refreshing salad on the side. A nice interpretation of East meets West.
I am from Victoria and this little place is a gem. The tempura is probably the best I’ve had outside of Japan and the Thai halibut was perfect. Great cook on the fish and lovely little fresh farmers’ market veggies!
We tried Bamboo Beach for the first time this week for lunch take out. It was really good. The bowls, burgers, and special were delicious. Will definitely try them again in the near future
My husband's meal was delicious however mine was just plain weird. A Thai Red Curry with agadashi style tofu. My tofu was sticky, gummy and unpalatable. I brought it to my servers attention and he stated that was what it was supposed to look like. I was disappointed.
BB has the best, most tasty food. The "fusion" label doesn't do it justice. Yuki and Amanda and their crew create amazing fresh, flavorful, beautiful dishes. We've been ordering take-out from them as much as possible until we moved further away. Amanda's pie crusts are the best! The savory Thai Chicken pie and Japanese Beef Curry pie are must-haves for our home freezer. We just love Bamboo Beach. Have never been disappointed. It's a true gem, tucked away in a humble store front on the main shopping street in Vernon. Worth seeking out!
The BEST food in the Okanagan hands down! Yuki is a superb chef. The ingredients are always fresh and at a very reasonable price! This is a must visit restaurant is you live in the valley. Great with food intolerance/allergies. Also, they have the best french fries I've ever had!
My first time at this little gem. Didn't know what to expect. Ordered tuna and let me tell you it was the best l ever had. The dish presentation was an art on it's own. Every vegetable had different flavour. This was really a treat. Just as l was finishing this wonderful dish the little Japanese woman stopped at my table and asked if l liked it. It turned out she was the Chef who prepared this little piece of art for me. This was wonderful treat as l could praise this talented woman for one of the best dinners l've ever had. I thought this was a really nice touch. I was in a such a great mood that l decided to try their dessert and omg... Another amazing surprise... Hard to describe how amazing this was so l am including the picture.
This is by far my favorite restaurant now so happy l stopped by 😃👍
