Good quality, great portions and prices are very decent! Perfect spot if you want to grab a quick bite to eat.
Life Saver. Quick n Easy!. Here's the thing about hole in the wall type of sushi joint: u r rolling the dice. its either operate by a non-Japanese or the air-vent instead of refreshing the air, it gives u back the "trace of fish". Sake, yes on the first part, and no fish scent. Sits comfortably abt 20 at max, menu is a no-brainer, generic vancouver style typical rolls and box meal option 1-5, so: order away. Pricing: anyone can walk away, belly holding by dropping merely $10.
Avoid peak hours, quick grab and go, $10, no complain at all.
Food: Standard, nothing fancy, fresh fish, good carving, regular sized piece; again no complain.
Keep up the good work, Sake! (especially u r seriously, a stone throw away from VGH EU....u r a real life saver when time's a crunch)
Great! Inexpensive. Sushi was fresh and ample servings. Loved the rainbow roll and the sushi pizza.

I tried a couple times of their lunch special menu and there are a lot of choices on it. The food is decent quality with the price you are paying for it.
...Sake Café rules!!! I ate there last Tuesday AND Wednesday, lol. It’s near VGH on Broadway. So they have a special where you can order three items from a list for $8.95, and it also comes with miso soup and a salad. It says that is a lunch special on their menu but currently you can get the deal at any time of day. There are about 40 different things you can choose from including appetizer items, nigiri sushi, simple rolls and even some special rolls. Lots of places have deals like this but the difference here is that they do not skimp on anything! Everything was really nicely made, large, and decent quality. They also have great service and the food arrives VERY quickly. Perfect!! TUESDAY The free salad and miso. The salad is just iceberg lettuce, but the carrot ginger dressing is really tasty. The miso soup soothed my sore throat after a day of yelling talking
