Really nice bubble tea place. The drinks have wonderful presentation and it's pretty customizable on how you'd like your drink in terms of sweetness. The service was friendly as well. Definitely worth trying.
17°C Dessert Cafe Vancouver | Watermelon Shaved Ice Bowls and Light Bulb Drinks 創意冰店. 創意冰店 17°C Dessert Cafe Vancouver is the newest dessert shop. Last weekend they offered 50% off everything for their Grand Opening and ran out of melon shaved iced bowls almost immediately. Luckily I did not go line up even though I wanted to see what all the fuss was all about and why people would line up for hours to get some shaved ice. Well, good things come to those who are patience. Did you catch all the craziness on Snapchat (👻 instanomss)?
Hot day and we had the watermelon icy and a kiwi light bulb drink. The watermelon icy is $15, but we shared it between 3 people. The shaved ice was creamy, and the watermelon balls were refreshing (mainly why we got it over the honeydew ones), though a little pricey. But you also have to keep in mind the manpower it takes to make the watermelon balls.
The light bulb drink was alright. I thought kiwi was a little weird tasting for a soda, but that's just me.
I probably won't get the watermelon icy again next time, but an Oreo shaved ice or something along the lines of that. It's about half the price but I saw it being decently big in size from the table next to ours!
