Once in awhile, you come across a delicious restaurant and can’t stop thinking about it for days afterwards. This was Rio Brazilian Steakhouse for me! When Cheese randomly suggested this, we all wanted to check it out! I made reservations online for us the following week!. There are two locations – one in downtown on Denman, and one in Coquitlam.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Downtown Vancouver. It's a little tricky to navigate the restaurant, but when you arrive it's so beautiful and the food matches the tone of the restaurant. The service is phenomenal as the chefs come around and serve you a variety of meats straight onto your plate. You have the option to choose fatty pieces, lean, etc., and not have to move at all. Within the restaurant however, there is already made food, but I go here for the experience of the meat. The only thing that I would say is worth trying out at the food bar is the pasta.
what a night. Everything was excellent. Food, variety, concept and service. We are amazed. They have a vibrant, energetic and sexy show also. We recomend this place.
Group of 6 parents getting out on the town, no kids! Decided to try Rio, glad we did!
Excellent food, the meat that came by was all perfectly cooked, most of the steak was right around medium rare and very juicy.
Buffet portion was well stocked, fresh, and had lots of choice.
Only disappointment was the service, but not that of the meat servers. Meat service was fast and constant, but general table service during the meal, while friendly and helpful, was merely adequate.
Overall a wonderful dining experience, will be back for sure!
Not bad, but a bit inconsistent.. Came here since a friend flew in and wanted churrascaria (and Samba's wasn't an option). Arrived on a weekday night, and it was very quiet to start - there was only one other table - but picked up and got more energetic as the night went on. The service, was very attentive throughout, with the servers coming around at very regular intervals.
While most of the food was good, I'd have to say that there were definite misses. The crackling pork and chicken were very dry, and the top sirloin had a salt crust with even more salt used for the seasoning. That said, the lamb was very good, and I enjoyed the rack of ribs that went around. Overall, the service was good, the salad bar was standard but fresh, and the meat had more hits than misses.
Hey guys! I don’t like All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) sushi, so how about AYCE Brazilian Steakhouse? I went to Rio Brazilian Steakhouse and tried their expansive dinner menu. Was the endless meat juicy and tender or dry and tasteless?...We had an assortment of food and there was TONS of it. With the dinner AYCE ($29) you get full access to the salad bar, pasta bar, and of course, meat....My favourite parts of the night were the Picanha and the Condensed Milk Custard Pudding. The Picanha was very tender, juicy, and the little strip of fat around the edge had a good salty seasoning. The pudding was also fantastic. It was similar in shape to custard pudding I’ve had .
