Store owner very friendly and kind, and their chicken and dill rice are one of the best I ever had in town.

This place has been around for years, their fish kebab is unreal. They are open late which benefits alot of people. Check this place out after a nice walk on the beach.
Walked pass this place and can smell the delicious of kabab... so we decided to have dinner here... ordered chicken and beef kabab with Persian rice, tzatziki and salad. Nice juicy kabab packed of flavours and fluffy Persian rice... perfecto 😊😊😊
great med food in near our hotel. went in for to go order and food was ready in under 10 minutes. they stay open super late for convenience. you won't be disappointed here.

Persian version of donair. I love donairs, gyros, souvlakis, whatever you want to call them. I'll eat them instead of a hamburger any day. (Unlike hamburger, when was the last time you heard of a nationwide e. coli outbreak from donairs, eh?) So on a bicycle ride through the drizzly West End, I stopped by Mediterranean Grill because I saw that it was run by Persians (is "Iranian" a dirty word now?). I wanted to see how their version of donair stacked up to Greek, Arab and other cultures' cuisines.
Perhaps I can't generalize based on one restaurant's preparation, but Mediterranean Grill's lamb/beef donair meat was not as spicy and char-grilled on the outside as other types I've had. Is that the Persian way? Med Grill's was tender on the teeth, like the donair roll was made of compressed shreds of the constituent meats. No gristle! Too often, donairs with lamb have fatty chunks. Med Grill's sandwich had a good balance of meat to veg inside a thin pita roll. The slaw was moist with a subtle garlicky dressing. The entire creation held together well when noshed it on a bench by the seawall. It made a decent snack, and it was even better because I had a coupon from one of their menus for a free soda with the sandwich. I'd hit this place again.
Delicious!. Love the food here especially the dill rice, YUM! Also the fact that they have free delivery downtown is a huge bonus which I take full advantage of. I eat here frequently and recommend this to many if you are looking for some good Persian food at a good price!
Great little spot. Everything is very tasty, even the rice. Nice touch with cookie-sized pieces of 'crunchy' rice placed on top of the regular rice. Casual, reasonably-priced good food. Very busy place: Sit indoors or outdoors along the front of the restaurant (outdoors fills up especially quickly on sunny days). Or, grab a wrap and enjoy it on the beach at English Bay across the street :) The plates are large portions (cucumber/tomato salad, LOTS of rice, good portion of meat, pita bread and dill cream sauce on the side).
SUCCESS. I have been eating at this place for a long time now... almost 2 times a week.
I just want to give you an example of how these guy care about their customers; one day I noticed that some times the food smelled like the Styrofoam so the next time I mentioned it to the delivery guy as a suggestion.
The next time I ordered the food came in a completely different container and it did not smell anymore... well except DELICIOUS. WAY THE GO GUYS. Wish you all the success you deserve.
