This place was one of the most amazing places to eat in Vancouver. i ate at Dosa factory for most of the time i spent in Vancouver. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to try and ensure top quality food service. the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and the food is simply delicious. There's a wide variety of Indian food available here and the prices are very reasonable too. I would definitely recommend this place to eat in Vancouver. Try it out guys, You'll be missing out otherwise

Wow wow wow!!! Outstanding is an understatement. I had the goat curry and got to taste all my friends dishes which just blew me away. So authentic. The chef even came out to say hi. Excellent place! Thanks Jackson!
We had their veg dosa and uthappam; both were excellent. The restaurant was spacious and the atmosphere was quite comfortable, a stark contrast from another dosa place in the area. Definitely would go again.
This place makes me feel home. One of the best dosa's I've had in Canada. Non-Veg dosas is to try for. Surprisingly, you people do make good biryani. Chicken 65 reminds me so much about the Indo-Chinese I use to have it in Mumbai 😍

This place was good. My friend recommended their non-dosa stuff, mainly the Butter Chicken and naan. We ordered that and got a dosa for half price because that was the Monday special. The butter chicken is very flavourful and we upgraded to garlic naan, which had lots of great garlic flavour. The Palak Paneer dosa was okay. They do a curry with rice and naan special on Wednesdays for $10.99 so I will definitely be back.

Place is big compared to other restaurants. Quick service, nice tasty South Indian food ! Friendly and courteous staff. Normal ambience thou nice music. Wish this place luck for the Indian food they serve abroad.

This is another South Indian restaurant that's located just a few doors down from another similar (and very good) restaurant, House of Dosas. Like the latter, this restaurant has Monday specials where they have a selected variety of dosas going for currently $6.99. Although the price is $1 more than the House of Dosa special, they do include a small dessert in their combo. I've tried their Chicken and Mixed Vegetable Dosa, which was quite tasty. I've also tried their Lamb Kothu Parotta, which they have on special for currently $10.99 on Tuesdays, and absolutely loved it. The service does have some room for improvement. The kitchen does appear to be quite efficient and the food comes out reasonably fast. The staff, while reasonably polite and friendly, can be a bit slow and may take a while to seat customers and turn over tables. All in all, while I do like House of Dosas just a tad more, this is certainly a great restaurant, and definitely worth checking out (especially on Mondays).
Chicken Mixed Vegetable Dosa ($6.99 on Mondays):

The Monday special consisted of a dosa, three chutneys (coconut, tomato and sambar) and a small, bite-sized dessert (I got a Ras Malai). The dosa is essentially a large, thin crepe, and has a crispy texture in the regions near the edges and a softer, chewier texture in regions closer to the interior. On its own it has a slightly tangy flavour; I ate it with the chutneys (my favourite is the coconut, which is creamy and has a nice aroma). There was a generous amount of filling, which consisted of chicken, potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and peas. The meat and vegetables is well-cooked and seasoned, and had a nice aroma from the spices, although I could have done with a bit more heat. While I'm generally not the biggest fan of Indian desserts (I find them too sweet, which is a bit shocking as I LOVE sugar), I actually quite liked the Ras Malia, which wasn't overly sweet and had a nice creaminess and aroma.
Lamb Kothu Parotta ($10.99 on Tuesday):

This is the first time that I've had this type of dish and now that I've tried it, there's no doubt that I'd be ordering this more in the future. This is quite similar to a fried noodle dish, except with strips of chopped up parotta (which is a type of flatbread) in place of the noodles, mixed with various spices, eggs and lamb. The parotta had a soft chewy texture that is a bit like rice noodle rolls. It was very flavourful and had a great fragrance from the spices. I had requested the dish to be spicier and they made it perfectly: there was a good amount of heat, just enough to make my eyes water slightly. There was a good amount of lamb, which was very tender and not too gamey. It was quite a large portion too: I was quite full about 2/3 of the way through the dish but it was so addictively tasty that I just couldn't stop eating the whole thing.
I have just discovered my new favorite food. onion rava masala dosa. unbelievable. I will be eating this OFTEN. I also had the aloo Gobi dosa. sooooo gooooood. Mondays are like $6 too. 👍👍👍👍
At last, we have arrived at my 100th review. When I walked into the Dosa Factory, I realized that I had been here before, only it was an Uighur restaurant. It seems strange that they would put a Dosa house here considering that it is dangerously close to The House of Dosas, but they are quite successful.
The Dosa Factory has good curries and Chinese Indian cuisine. It was quite silly of me to not try the dosas; I must be slipping in my old age. That I will have to do next time, for (to paraphrase General MacArthur) ‘I will return’.
My favorite restaurant in Vancouver! Delicious food – always fresh and flavorful. Crispy crunchy dosa and vada, soft fragrant idli, and the best chutneys and sambar ever! Service is very friendly as well.

Undoubtedly, the best place in Vancouver for South-Indian food (especially dosa) ! Surprisingly, they also serve good biriyani.
Note: Open till late, go n satisfy those dosa cravings 😬. Very decently priced !
