The rating is in comparison to other fast food breakfast places that I visited in Vancouver. I had their breakfast club combo. They make it fresh and took some time to serve but then the burger was good. Hashbrown was decent when compared to other places. It was totally empty when i visited at around 8:30am
Just had the Chipotle BBQ Bacon Melt with some Onion Rings. Made it a "bigger" 6oz burger and put a couple onion rings in - yummy! (Very messy, but that's alright because the paper wrap it came in was able to keep most of that mess off my hands)
The interior is clean and tidy, the food came out hot and exactly what I ordered. The only thing that bugs me is the price; a burger combo here can be pretty close to a cost of a burger in any restaurant/pub and that has table service.... I can see why it's not often busy here, I'd probably choose from the numerous restaurants and pubs in downtown for the ambience, service, and alcohols too.
After having a delicious burger at White Spot, later that week I decided to try out White Spot's "sister brand", Triple O's (700 Hamilton Street, Vancouver). This Triple O's is located on the ground floor of the CBC building at the corner of Georgia and Hamilton Streets. Despite being in an urban downtown area, the Triple O's is actually a spacious 50's or 60's diner inspired inside with a service counter at one end. Add to this a condiment and drink counter along another side the entire interior set up is like a McDonald's forced to combine operations with a diner.
