I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The crowd is young and lively and the fried chicken is delicious. The restaurant gets busy in the evening so come early or make reservations to prevent disappointment.

I love it here. The food is amazing. Great place to go and get a bite to eAt, or to meet friends for some food and drink. It's always packed, so make a reservation if you need a bigger table.
Started following these guys on Instagram and finally made my way to try them out. Ordered 18 wings of the original soy and 18 of the hot wings. Amazing!! Some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Service was good, no complaints. Wings were a little pricey but were big, juicy and delicious so no biggie. Also got an order of the spicy ramen. Skip that....pretty sure it was just a package of ichiban in spicy broth. Come for the fried chicken and beer, then go next door for some karaoke.
• hmmmm om nom nom deep fried chicken wings!!!
• one of the best chicken wing places in town
• this resto is usually fully packed, so come early and in group
Second time trying Korean Fried chicken, the last time was a bit disappointing. But Zabu really knows how to make good chicken. Their most popular dish, soy chicken was very crispy and very tasty. We also ordered the spicy chicken wings and it was soooo good, but unfortunately too spicy for me.
Will definitely try again. 👍🏻
chicken and beer is always enough to entice me, so i made my way on over to zabu chicken to check the place out. Their soy wings are a popular item so our group decided to give it a go. The flavour was on par, infusing both sweet and spicy, while the texture was crispy and had a nice crunch. Flush your meal down with a nice cold beer, and i'm sure you'll enjoy your meal as much as i did!
Zabu soy wings is on my top wings list. I really like the flavoring. It has a great balance of sweet and salty flavour and the chicken is crispy. I come here every time I crave chicken in downtown.
Interesting side note, this place is obsessed with EXO. Their TVs only played Exo MVs/concerts the few times I visited.
Food was good, but service was ok. We were lucky we got a table cause part way into our meal, it got really busy. They open at 3 and there were people already inside. We got there around 4.
We ordered the zabu soy chicken combo which comes with wings and drumsticks. It arrived pretty quickly along with the spicy rice cakes. The chicken also came with a coleslaw and some pickled radishes. It was great that food was on our table quickly except we weren't given any water until we asked. They were pretty busy though, so kind of understandable. The chicken was what we came here for and it didn't disappoint. It was crispy and had good flavour. A little salty with sweetness. I could have eaten another plate of it. The rice cake was pretty good too but it didn't have that many rice cakes in it. I liked how there were plenty of fish cakes and some onion and cabbage in it as well though. We also tried an egg soup with seafood. It was interesting. It came in a hot stone bowl and was bubbling away when it arrived. It was tasty but I wish it came with rice.
Overall, I was satisfied with the food. Service could have been better. But really they just need more servers or maybe be a bit more attentive. But the servers were still nice. I would come back again because their chicken is really good.
Zabu Soy Original fried chicken: I definitely liked this because it was really crispy and well balanced with the soy flavours (subtle sweet/salty).
Yang nyum chicken (sweet & spicy) was more sweet than spicy. It has been sprinkled cinnamon and gives it a very interested taste that's uncommon for fried chicken.
I kind of already crave their fried chicken even though it's only been a day since I ate it...
How much chicken is too much chicken? Trick question - there can never be enough.
Two whole Zabu Soy Original chickens, a plate of Zabu hot wings, and Soy Sal Sal chicken and now the party’s bumping.
I love the fried chicken combo which has chicken wings and drumsticks. My girlfriend told me that the non spicy chicken is better than the spicy chicken which I agree.
Got the tofu soup (with rice and side dishes) and the medium soy chicken combo (3 legs and 6 wings). The tofu soup was actually pretty good and yummy, nothing fancy but good old comfort food.
The wings were very flavorful but the legs were rather dry and boring so I would definitely recommend only getting the wings.
Service was surprisingly good; very friendly and attentive.
