Kung Fu Noodle is located in the hustle and bustle of downtown. I walked by this place last time I was in town and it intrigued me. Who can say no to hand pulled noodles?. Signs and posters on the door promoting a few of their dishes. The place was bumping for a Thursday around 12:30pm. Don’t fret though; lots of seating with people coming and going the whole time.

Kung Fu Noodle is located on Seymour Street downtown Vancouver, which is a block away from the Pacific Center. It has been opened for so many years. There are more than two locations in the Great Vancouver Area. My boyfriend and I have been to the noodle restaurant to eat so many times. We enjoyed having authentic Chinese noodle at this place.
The most recently we had Kung Fu Noodle was two weeks ago when we went back to Vancouver looking for a place. We arrived at Kung Fu Noodle around 4:30 pm. It was very early and the restaurant was very busy at all. We found a table and sat down. Then, we began to order our food. My boyfriend ordered the traditional noodle bowl – Lanzhou Stretched Noodle with the chicken popcorn. I had Deep fried squid and Kungfu noodle beef with tomato soup. After we ordered the food, our dish came out of the kitchen fast. The taste was the same as before. But, the quality of the noodle was smaller and not as good as before. I love deep fried squid. It was made by special seasonings, which is very delicious. The whole meal was not too expensive. It was around $40 for both of us, which was great. We had a great experience dining in Kung Fun Noodle.
Really decent Lan Zhou beef noodle soup here! Love how tender the beef is. The soup is tasty without MSG. We also ordered their lamb skewers but were a bit disappointed with them. They were breaded and fried, not grilled. If you are looking for a decent bowl of noodles, I would definitely recommend this place!
Restaurant sits right beside Bay Sushi on Seymour. I came here with some coworkers for lunch and got seated with no problems. This places serves Sichuan Chinese style food. I ordered a combo for about $12 which included a soup and pop. The dish itself was tasty. I would certainly come back here.
Discovered the noodle place on the way to the SFU downtown campus. Went in to have lunch. The noodle is out of this world. It's freshly hand made right at the back. I ordered their special lamb noodle soup. It was incredible especial for a cold winter day. I will go back next week to school.
I am a huge noodle fan. So I had to try this place close to my work. The chef makes fresh noodles in the back right corner everyday (see creeper pix I took of him). The Lao szu spicy noodles were good. But noodles were too thin and there was only 2 little drops of chili oil to make it 'spicy' not bad overall but long wait for table and food during weekday lunches. After tip and tax the bowl was about 12-13$ so.. Meh. Just 3.5/5
I come here for lunch at least once a week. Everytime I have the same dish which they call Beef Chow Mein but I describe as Fried Noodle with Beef. Handmade cut noodles, a bit spicy, a bit oily (in a good way), not a lot of beef or vegetable (which is fine), and very delicious. I would eat here more often but you have to be careful when eating this dish in a dress shirt; concentrate when using those chopsticks as those heavy noodles can throw sauce at you.
Tasty. Dandan mein was packed with flavour. very tasty peanuty pork meat sauce with very soft rice noodles. Not bad at all.
Handmade Noodles? I'm in.. It has been a personal mission of mine to try every Asian variety of the noodle soup. You know, Noodles, meat, pickled veg and broth. If you're like me this is a must try. First of all, I'm happy to find a proper pulled noodle joint downtown. Their special, is a bit sour, a bit of kick and made with hand-made noodles. The food here is good.
Add another great noodle soup to the list.
KungFu Noodle has its good parts – reasonable prices, big portions, and in-house made noodles. They give you a lot of noodles, which is great but they seem to skimp out on the meat and vegetables. If you enjoy eating noodles in soup, then you will love KungFu Noodle. If you are expecting meat and the peripherals, then you will not enjoy KungFu Noodle as much.
