My dining experience at "Stepho's Souvlaki Greek Tavern Restaurant" was indeed satisfactory and heavenly. The ambience really got the "greek vibes", and especially their serving staff were polite and kind whenever we asked our service. My aunt,uncle and I were really satisfied with the food. We ordered the roast lamb and spareribs. The big portions were very generous and so we shared. This was my first time eating greek food, and I must say its very savory and palatable. The greek salad was mouth-watering. We came for lunch, on a Sunday morning. My aunt said that this restaurant sometimes is a full house. I really adored the waiter serving us, because he is handsome. He was so neat with his uniform, and he made all the customer satisfied with the service he gave them. The spareribs were very soft and appetizing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and especially the people who are new here in Vancouver like me. And It was so nice that they had also a good selection of red wine and white wine, to be partnered with the food. I ordered a Shirley Temple, one of their non-alcholic drinks and it tasted sweet because of the grenadine. For the menu was so presentable with a wide variety of choices.
Had dinner with group of 5 friends and our experienced was very good. The restaurant was very busy but the waiting times is faster than we expected. The staff are very friendly and keep smiling. Food was very good with huge amount of servings on a very affordable prices.
This place is better than I expected. The service here is really good and the food portion matches its price. I ordered the bbq ribs and it was good.
My go-to greek food restaurant
Stepho’s Souvlaki Greek Taverna is one of my favourite Greek Food Restaurants in the Great Vancouver area. There are two locations I known so far. One is located on Robson street and another one is on Davie Street. Both locations are on the busy street downtown. For this reason, it always has a huge line up in front of the door around lunch and dinner time. People can eat in and takeout food from the restaurant. It has cheapest and super delicious greek food. I love this place so much.
Stepho’s Souvlaki Greek Taverna has been one of my go-to places in the West End for comfort food. I’ve dined in at their Davie location countless times over the last 15 years but their food is also pretty good for takeout. As many might recall, Stepho’s has been a longstanding restaurant in Vancouver and is famous for lineups. So it was no surprise with their much success that a second location opened on Robson Street back in 2014. I had yet to try their Robson Street location so when I was craving for some Stepho’s recently I decided to go with their Robson restaurant.
2nd branch of the super popular Greek restaurant, however I recommend going to the west end branch instead. Located at end of Robson shopping street. The foods here are excellent and super great value.
You cannot make reservation to the restaurant, I recommend going to the restaurant before six pm to avoid the crowd.
Ordered their lamb leg 5/5 and I cant finish it as it is too big.
Mussels 4/5 not fresh enough but still good.
First time here. We walked by this place many times before but never came in. This time we glad we did. The place is a casual family oriented bistro with very cozy decor and seating arrangement. The food was fantastic as well. Nothing fancy, simply authentic Greek food that's prepared with care and consideration. Our server Laura was awesome as well. She made the experience all the more pleasant. Price is reasonable for it's generous portion. Will definitely come back.
Hello, dear readers. It's been a turbulent few weeks for me. I've been going through a few health-related issues, as well as some personal ones. Not going to delve into the details but this month has been especially difficult. The only thing that keeps me going? The promising weather, my rotation of 33 new lipsticks, food (both literally and figuratively.)
It is a good restaurant with delicious food and nice environment! The waiters are nice and friendly. But it dose not allow to make reservation so you better go there earlier .
For the price, can't go wrong! I"m always full. not the best greek in town but i still go back! chicken slouvaki is my go to dish. pass ont he desserts...wasn't that great
Boyfriend and I enjoyed our food so much! It was our first time here, and we did a takeout and ate at Stanley Park. Very very surprised by the portion. My calamari dinner plate ($16.75) was overflowing with yummy crunchy calamari, the tzatziki sauce was actually really yummy, good salad, rice, and potatoes. AND the warm bread was buttery and fragrant too! So much that it should've been 2 meals (but I gobbled it all). The chicken skewer (plate- $13.75) was juicy and moist, and tasted great with the seasoning. Our server was nice. Definitely one for the books.
Close to authetic Greek food. Decent prices. The personnel could know the menu better.
With that said their Lamb platter is out of this world. The lamb meat is falling off the bone and the taste is amazing.
As a Greek restaurant they should offer Greek coffee as well. I hope the owner considers adding this to their portfolio.

Always is a delight to eat something in this location. I loved my dish of roast lamb was so generous served with potatoes and greek salad 🥗 😋 Next time I have to try 😋 with kalamari dish.
We've been coming to Stepho's for many years now. Always a great place to come with family and friends or as couples. The thing I like most about Stepho's is the price vs. Portion and quality that you get. It's almost unbeatable in Vancouver. Be prepared to wait for a table anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes on a weekend. Food is really good and the location is convenient with lots of street parking (metered).
The place is so beautiful, attractive and cozy but I think it needs to be updated.
The veggie Lasagna was great, so delicious and tasty. I will order it next time for sure!
Lamb Souvlaki was good. Roasted potatoes were great!
