This was a long-awaited visit and it was great. They had a good covid-friendly set up in place with markers on the ground (although I can't say everyone was walking in the right direction). I appreciated that the staff wore masks. The enchiladas and shrimp tacos were large healthy portions. I would definitely return here.
Really nice and relaxed outdoor patio to enjoy in the summer months. We went for the afternoon happy hour and enjoyed the margarita slushees! Food was tasty. I’d recommend the chimichanga. The Mexican poutine was disappointing - very small and just fries with some mince on top. Service was friendly and attentive.
I’ve been to Las Margaritas several times and it’s one of my city favourites. The servers and the entire staff for that matter are great and very jolly! The food is amazing, I’m a fan of the Fajitas, and enchilada de Sonora. When I’m out for drinks, I find the jalapeño poppers and nachos a great pick. Also, the portion is size is huge and justifies the price. The drinks are all great, but I prefer the food a lil more! The only small issue that I discovered was the nachos got really soggy.

Came on the night of the Dine Out Fest ending but was able to try the regular menu & it was worth it!

Instantly served drinks with salsa & warm corn chips.
The quesadilla is gorgeous, chicken with vegetables & served with really tasty black beans & side salad. The tasting platter is delicious- stuffed jalapeños pepper, chicken wing, cheese quesadilla & a spring roll like dish filled with blenderized beans mixed with melted cheese.
To finish the night off, dessert trio. The churros are the main show but the flan & tres deleche cake are able to stand on their own & scream flavour explosions.
My recommendation- save some room for the dessert trio! It’s worth the extra calorie intake!!!
Always a fun atmosphere! Love the range of drinks & margaritas. Food is yummy, love their guacamole! Wish they would clean the spiderwebs off the patio. Very dirty.
One of the few mexican restaurants in this area of Vancouver. It can get pretty crowded so I would recommend making a reservation if possible. The food is always yummy and the service is ok
Highly recommend Las Margs! We went for a girlfriends birthday the other night (group of 10!) and they were so accommodating, the food was amazing and the service was top notch.
I grew up in the area and this restaurant has always been a staple both in my family and my friend group. We always gravitate to this place for our family dinners, birthday celebrations and for lunch + margaritas on the patio during the summer months. We've always received excellent service and love the menu - there's something for everyone and the portion sizes are very generous. The chips and salsa they serve you upon being seated are the best and the atmosphere is always positive and inviting. This place is a key part of what makes Kitsilano so great.
I've lived in Kitsilano for 5 years and I have always been a big fan of this restaurant. The service is always quick and friendly and their food options are great for vegetarian and gluten free as well.
Highly recommend Las Margs! Food, atmosphere, service - all amazing! Great spot for birthday parties or friends night out. My go to is the chicken enchiladas and the raspberry margaritas!
