This cafe is great, lovely service and atmosphere. Very busy in comparison to the local cafes and restaurants.

For Canada, this is a 5 star breakfast. (Canada is awesome, but breakfast here is usually a bagel or something.. ausy breakfasts at cafes are epic..)

I think the guy serving owns the place. He was a lovey guy. Very friendly.

We will be back for sure.

Smoked salmon eggs benny with added turkey sausage. Fresh pressed coffee. All superb and delicious. Comfortable seating. A definite must visit for brunch in downtown Vancouver.

Came here for Sunday brunch after reading positive reviews and were treated to great food and outstanding service. Seems to be a popular place, so get there early. Big portions (you won’t go home hungry), and an overall good value. Highly recommended!

A small little bistro with characters located on Granville Street. From their welcoming staff all the way down to their menu, Twisted Fork Bistro will not fail to impress you.

We had Eggs Benedict that was served on brioche bread, with house-made hash brown & baked beans. Their Eggs Benedicts were cooked to perfection.

Overall, the food was scrumptious - and we were pleasantly gratified.

They might be on the expensive side, but we would say is definitely worth it.

Although I’ve read a lot about the long lineups and wait times of up to 1 hr during the weekends, the place was actually half-empty when I visited (12:30 pm on a Wednesday), and I was promptly seated. Although they have a pretty good variety of delicious-sounding breakfast/brunch items, I knew easily what I wanted to order: their famous French Toast. I also had a cup of their coffee to accompany my meal. The food was tasty, and I really liked the overall relaxed vibe of the place and the staff members, who were cheerful and friendly without ever being overbearing. While I do think that the restaurant is a tad over-hyped, I still had a great experience, and will certainly be coming back.

French Toast ($16.5)
4/5
This consisted of three large slices of brioche bread sandwiching a generous amount of banana filling, accompanied by fresh whipped cream, a shot glass of syrup and a few slices of strawberries and apples. The brioche bread was extremely soft and fluffy, with a slightly crispy exterior. Unfortuantely, the banana filling didn't do much for me; while it added a nice texture and fragrance (and of course, fibre and potassium), it was largely flavourless. In spite of the apperance, I actually found the french toast by itself to be on the bland side. Drizzled with the syrup and whipping cream however, and it was jsut perfect. I was also surprised by how filling it was; in spite of my massive appetite, I actually had to push myself to finish the last 1/2 slice.

Coffee ($4):
They serve their coffee in a french press. I can’t speak much about the quality of the coffee (I honestly can’t tell the difference between a cup from McDonalds or one from an acclaimed artisanal coffee shop like Timbertrain - they all taste the same to me), but I thought it was pretty fun to steep and pour my own coffee. There was about 3 cups worth in the press (I only had 2 as I haven’t been sleeping too well recently and didn’t want to over-caffeinate).

Our last breakfast stop on this mini vacation. We arrived at about 8:30 and there was plenty of room. Starting to fill up when we left.

All brunch items are the same price here. No kids' menu. They don't have pancakes/waffles, so the kids' choices were a little trickier.

The Wife had Smoked Salmon Eggs Benny. She thought it was good, but it was served on a slice of brioche that could have been toastier. Spinach and baked beans on the side. My wife enjoyed the spinach, but took a pass on baked beans for breakfast. I ate them. They were fine.

I had the Frittata. It was fine. Light on andouille and veggies. It came with a corn relish and some mixed greens. All fine. I wished I had chosen the French Toast.

The kids did choose the French Toast, but without bananas stuffed inside the brioche. It was pretty good. It came with a giant pile of vanilla whipped cream. We had to get some banana bread to supplement their syrup-breakfast appetites. The banana bread was tasty, but nothing special. It had nuts.

Twisted Fork was good, but I think I'd opt for Jam Cafe as our go to breakfast spot.

Simple brunch offerings. The egg benny was good, perfect egg, but compared to elsewhere, I'm not a huge fan of its side dishes. I liked the spinach but not so much the hash or the beans. Nothing bad with it in terms of tastes, just a personal preference.

When it comes to top places for brunch in Vancouver, Twisted Fork Bistro regularly makes the list.  This quaint and cozy bistro located in the heart of the Granville Entertainment district in Downtown Vancouver serves brunch everyday from 8 am – 3 pm.  They do not take reservations and hour-long waits are not uncommon.  Although I have been living downtown for over 7 years now, I still had not tried this familial foodie favourite.  Recently, I finally made plans to have a late day brunch at Twisted Fork Bistro.

We came here on a recommendation from a friend.... And it didn't't disappoint, it was fantastic food in a packed little vintage space with great buzz going for a morning and music to boot - jazz.

Although there wasn't a table available they were accommodating in allowing us to sit at the counter.

I did notice their polite message to ask patrons not to hang about once finished their food as others may very well be waiting.... Yes they may very well be waiting, as was I, desperate to try, I wanted to grab that seat and have breakfast but I didn't want to rush mine or anyone else's butt off it either I like to allow at least a little time for my food to settle.

Staff were busy although at times did find time to stand at the end of the counter and chat about life and missed the opportunity to be attentive hence the mark down in our review.

Tight place to eat and you'll likely wait a while to get a table , but they're very accommodating. And the food is great. Worth the wait. .................

I had the best brunch here! I ordered the Pulled pork eggs Benny and they were so well seasoned, perfectly cooked and the side of potatoes was such a perfect complement! They melted in my mouth and didn’t need any extra dressing cause they were so flavourful alone. I also got their feature croissant and it blew my mind! Perfect buttery and flaky layers of pastry, filled with a rich mascarpone and berry cream. I would go back to this place for that croissant alone because it was something out of a dream for pastry and dessert lovers. The waitress and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive the whole time. Highly recommended, their great ratings are so well deserved!

A sweet little brunch place with unique dishes. They take reservations which is very good for brunch, and their dishes are quite large portion wise. The KFC pancake was very saucy and I wish the pancake was thicker to absorb it all, although it's pretty good in terms of variety. The chorizo sandwich was more like a burger though, albeit very tasty. The lavender latte was excellent! Good service as well.

We made reservations, and only allowed 75mins to have meal which was too short, to be honest. But I understand because there are always long line up outside. Service was good, food looks pretty. But too noisy (just too busy, not their fault)

Great experience. Food, atmosphere, decor and service — checks all the box. We had Churros for starter, Bulgogi steak n egg, Salmon gravlax bagel, BELT sandwich and Tiramisu. Everything was perfectly done. Price might seem bit expensive but compared to other places in Vancouver, I think its fine. Overall, highly recommended.

It was a bit difficult to find and the parking is not convenient as for some reason the city of Vancouver has limited all car parking on the street. But, once we found this place we were delighted. It's got a real nice feel on the inside. It's cozy, but open and has beautiful mood lighting with elegant lights all throughout the restaurant. Once you step in you can't help but notice the window of freshly in-house baked goods and the bar right behind it. Loved the FengShui of the place. It's one of those restaurants that you just wanna spend time in, but I guess due to its popularity, on the weekend each table has a cap of 1.5 hours. The dark coffee and Americano were great. Full body, smooth and piping hot. We tried the Mixed Berry croissant and the Nutella croissant. They were both incredible! My favourite was the Mixed Berry. If you're there you have to try the Mixed Berry! We ordered the Pulled Pork Benny, Avocado Toast and the Chorizo Breakfast Sandwich. They were all presented tastefully. The Avocado Toast and Chorizo were both on point with their ingredients, flavour profile and consistency. However, I didn't like the Pulled Pork Benny, which was my dish. (Murphy's Law....right! the one dish not so good goes to the one writing the review LOL) Pulled Pork if done right is one of the tastiest dishes in my opinion. However, it's hard to make, because it has to keep its moisture at the same time the amount of sugar which can dry out meat has to be carefully navigated. My Pulled Pork was so sweet that I couldn't eat much of it. The amount of sugar was so much that I couldn't taste the pork and overpowered even the egg yolk and since I had the wonderful croissant just before my main, it was too much sugar for me. Instead of the Pulled Pork being slightly sweet and savoury it was sweet, sweet, sweet. I'm afraid I didn't much enjoy the potatoes either just because they were slightly burned and oily, so again you just tasted the oil. The salad was lightly dressed and fresh so I had most of that. The service was great! Anna was our server and she did a wonderful job. We were never left wanting. The restaurant itself is in a bit of a shady neighbourhood, but I guess that's not much of a big deal, as when you step in, the atmosphere is completely different and takes you in completely.

First time and definitely not last! Randomly came across this place and it was such a delightful experience. The service is top notch attentive, professional and knowledgeable of menu. The food is AMAZING! We had the churros so soft and fresh, the Dulce de Leche Cronut so good! The choirzo breakfast sandwich was so tasty and the dutch baby berry one was perfectly sweet and satisfying. I am so happy I came here and will for sure be back. Prices reasonable for the quality of food you will receive. It's proper baked good, coffee and desserts.

This place is amazing! If you're looking for a nice brunch place in Vancouver and can't seem to find any, think no more and just come here. First things first, the service was impeccable! Our server was so enthusiastic and engaging, and gave us the best recommendations. She recommended the Mushroom Bagel and the Salmon Bagel (as seen in the last picture), and they definitely did not disappoint. The servings are HUGE for such a reasonable price, we had a hard time finishing... but every bite was like heaven. There was so much flavour in each dish and they all tasted so fresh. Asides from those main meals, we got the Berry Mascarpone Croissant as well as their churros, and I cannot emphasize enough how good they are! The churros are cooked to the perfect amount and pair so nicely with the dulce de leche and Irish cream. The croissant was such a nice addition to the cappuccino and Lavender Oat Latte! It's a perfect balance of sweet and savoury and you can't find a place with food like this anywhere else. The ginger lemonade was refreshing too! I will 100% happily return, but it's important to reserve a table beforehand as it is very busy! And when it is at the peak point, they limit the dining time to an hour and fifteen minutes (but are still flexible)!
