What a nice little spot. All day breakfast is my weakness, and this breakfast is SO good. (I had the Celtic Breakfast). Lots of other options though if you don’t want breakfast. The price is great for what you get. The family running it is also very friendly. Something different in Truro, and it’s definitely worth trying out. I will be back the next time I’m in Truro, and I will recommend to friends! :)
Wow! Congratulations! I just found out that you opened a cafe on Prince Street in Truro. I am so happy for you. I have been missing your amazing pies since for a while now.
For those of you who are thinking about going there....stop thinking about it and GO! The crusts on these pies are heavenly, flaky and not too heavy. The pies are meaty and the sauces robust with flavor. Also, very generous portioned pies...one keeps me full for a day! I can't say enough good thing about the skills of these two chefs to create authentic pub grub. Jane, whom I've not yet had the pleasure to meet and Chris (and his lovely daughter) who I had the opportunity to share market space with in Tatamagouche. Seriously, just go and have your appetite and tummies thoroughly satisfied.
I think my favorite is the Steak and Kidney Pie, but it could be the Steak Pie, or the Beef and Guiness Pie.... but who knows!? They are all delicious!
