Splendid location with two decks on the riverfront. Smoked salmon sandwich on rye was cool and fresh on slightly warm, toasted bread. Turkey sandwich with pesto was similarly done that second, with everything tasting freshly cooked and prepared. The homemade soup tasted a little starchy and processed, a little bit under flavored but not exactly canned. Curious but tasty and fine quality. Go ahead and order a beer with that; it comes with an icy frosted glass and you'll remember the River take Cafe for your very best lunch all week!

Came here for lunch, had the special and my boyfriend had the Rueben. Was exceptionally good, will absolutely eat there again. The owners were so friendly and introduced themselves. Really is a beautiful spot in this little town. Highly recommend

I work just across the bridge and had never been here before. I grabbed some take out and went around back to sit on a bench by the water. The food was amazing! I had a Montreal smoked meat sandwich with ham and pea soup and it was so tasty! The service was friendly and I was in and out in about 5 mins. Definitely worth a stop in. Looks like the menu had lots of breakfast and lunch options!
