An institution in the area. This restaurant has been open for at least 30 years. Great place for cheap Peking duck. The quality of the wrap for the such had improved a lot. Giving it 4 stars because the food is okay but not fantastic. Price is decent for what you get. We ordered, yin yang fried rice, ribs in thousand Island sauce, eggplant braised in garlic soy sauce, fried grouper in corn sauce, Peking duck special, lettuce wrap with duck meat. All came to about 73 bucks
A perfect point for Chinese food lovers, they
have different varieties of food in their
store. Golden butter prons is my
favourite and a worth giving a shot. They
don't have seating arrangement but you can
buy and take your Chinese food for your walk
journey.
We have been on a quest to find the perfect dim sum restaurant. I was extremely happy with this place. The dim sum was as good as any I had. I love the cart service!! The prices were fantastic!!! I will definitely be going back here in the future. Everything on the ground floor for people who may be disabled. Easy to get into. Staff courteous and helpful.
My family and I came here for dim sum on a holiday Monday during lunch time. It was packed and we ended up waiting nearly an hour for our table. The wait was unfortunate, but the food makes up for it.
The restaurant offers dim sum on meal carts going around the floor, as well as chef specials from a menu. We ordered an assortment of dim sum including: spring rolls, BBQ pork buns, siu mai, garlic chive dumplings, and garlic baby beef ribs.
Most of the dishes were good, as usual. However, it seems the busyness affected the quality of the BBQ pork buns and garlic baby beef ribs because the pork buns tasted a bit old and the ribs were under-cooked. The manager offered to re-cook the ribs with no hesitation.
Overall, a great meal for a great price which keeps my family coming back time and time again. The long wait is by no means the norm. Plus, this place is open 24 hours! I will definitely return in the future.

Is it perfect? No. Is it very good? Yes.
Where location and visibility is important to many restaurants, Perfect Chinese can't really be seen well from Sheppard Avenue. There were lots of cars parked outside at dinner time, so in we went. We were pleasantly surprised at the size. It was a bit over half full when we got there, but was mostly full when we left.
We were quickly seated and provided menus, as well as a couple of small pieces of paper to write down the numbers for our menu choices. Almost as soon as I put my pencil down, someone came by to scoop up our order.
We started with their "Small" bowl of Hot & Sour Soup. This was big enough for 3 or 4 people, so we took some home with us after dinner. The soup was very good, and a little bit spicier than others the we have had.
For our main dishes we chose Beef with Broccoli, and Chicken with Cashews. The portions were large; we also took half of the chicken dish home. No complaints about the food. It met our expectations.
Service was based on a team approach. If you need something, just put your hand in the air, and someone will be there shortly.
Perfect is literally a hop skip and a jump away from where I live. Although the 24 hour ocuupancy sounds convenient. It doesn't appeal to a foodie when it comes to the food quality. How can fresh food be offered 24/7 may I ask?đ This is the typical stigma associated with Perfect restaurant. But let me clarify this urban myth. If you go for dim sum in the morning, the food is actually amazing and super fresh! đ
On the day of my visit I ordered a variety of dim sum and I must say everything was spectacular. I was also quite shocked to see the price of the dim sum!đ¶ I find it impossible on how they maintain these prices in 2016?đ Without getting into details let's just say none of the dim sum items are over 3.00!đ€ For the old school push style cart dim sum offered there. Perfect stands as a rare gem! They even have the dim sum cart with the built in grill plate that cooks fresh taro, radish and water chestnut parties! All very yummy and so good!đ€
I ordered a variety of yummy eats. The classic steamed shrimp rice rolls was very fresh and you know it's a popular item when everyone rushes to the dim sum cart, the second the cart turns into the dining room corner.đ The pork steamed dumplings were plump and bursting with flavor. I also loved how the dumpling skin was slightly chewy and had a bite to it! There were also rare dim sum items found that not many dim places offer now. Like stewed beef delicacies (consisting of: tripe, beef lung and liver) Not many Chinese restaurants make this old time dish these days. There was also deep fried smelt and even deep fried quails!đ¶ I was very impressed! Those were seasoned so nicely, crispy and very delicious. I also managed to find rare rice tea cakes at Perfect? These little cakes are wrapped in lotus leaves. The interior of these cakes nests creamy red bean paste and soft chewy rice wrap exterior is fragranted by the lotus leaves. I love these little tea cakes and can eat a million of them!đ€ There are also afternoon specials that are offered at Perfect after 11:30. It consists of a variety of fried noodles and rice dishes. E-fu noodles are my favorite and I ordered that on my visit. It was done very nicely. The noodles were infused with broth then stewed dried, removing all the greasiness that's frequently found with E-fu noodles. This dish was executed very well!đđ
There is absolutely nothing I can complain about Perfect restaurant. It is in fact 'Perfect?'đ€đ Don't let the old and run down exterior scare you off. It's definitely far from being fancy, in fact, it may even look intimidating at first glance. But you will find rare food gems inside that will brighten your foodie face and fill your foodie stomach with pure joy!đ
The most affordable dim sum in Toronto has to be at Perfect Chinese Restaurant: on weekdays most dishes are $1.80 rising to $2 in their âVIPâ room, weekends all standard dishes are $2. Of course, they do have certain âspecialâ items peddled from the dim sum carts, but theses are still $3 or less. Even the customary tea charge is only $0.60 per person. If thereâs a place thatâs cheaper, I certainly havenât found it.Â
Even with the low prices, the quality of Perfectâs dim sum is good and certain dishes even larger than competitors. So how do they do it? Youâll find out the moment you pull into the old neglected plaza and sit down in their dated dining room â the surroundings arenât palatial, but the low rent and passĂ© dĂ©cor means savings in your pocket.
Perfect has such a large selection itâd be impossible to highlight even half of their offerings in this post. Instead, this will focus on the dim sum thatâs particularly good, bad or I find special as itâs hard to find elsewhere.
Stepping away from the âhamburgerâ method of providing feedback, weâll start with the poorly constructed dishes. Their nuggets of tofu and fish paste ($2) has an awful mushy and
Been going to Perfect for years!  If you want dim sum  or food all hours of the night, they are open 24 hours!  This is what makes the place unique.  Food is alright, but good if you are super hungry late at night and crave Chinese.  Otherwise do not go here for fine dining or super delicious food.
Nice food open late. Been eating here for years food always good and open very late too
Always good!. Servers are alil rude, and robot like-
But the food is great, fair prices open 24/7, all make up for the Ok service!
