Probably wasn't the best idea to go here for food on a cold day. Had high expectations, but was disappointed.
Paid over $20 for a plate with chicken, beef, salad, rice, and tomatoes. The plate was served to me in this gap, this hole, above where they served the salads and stuff.
The white rice was warm, but the yellow rice on top was cold. The charred tomato was strangely warm on the outside but cold on the inside.
The beef and chicken was dry and a bit tough as a result of that. The meat was marinated well and had a nice charred flavour, but it lacked the juiciness one would expect from a properly grilled piece of meat.
Located in North York, this Persian place has unparalleled quality food. Even though it may be a little out of the way, it's worth the drive/walk there. Their joojeh and koobedeh plates are awesome. The sultani is worth it if you're feeling up for the challenge. The servings can get pretty big.
Amazing food! Great variety and a full size bbq grill they cook on. They also have sumac and lemon juice to put on the food which I love!! Very tasty. The location is difficult for parking though, so if your driving scope out a spot first. The only thing I will criticize is the eating area. There was a sock on the floor and the tables and condiment containers could have been a little cleaner.
