Im biased as i am friends with the owner but ive never had a bad meal. I love the location. The staff are polite and knowledgable about the menu outside of uber loud drag shows while i am trying to enjoy food and company of others i would be there more often. Its a great place to let loose and enjoy the atmoshere of church street
I went to the Garage yesterday, for the very first time and it won't be my last! Our waiter Joseph, was such a cutie and one of the best waiter's that I've ever had! The coffee, bacon, cheese and mushroom omlette was superb and so was the conversation, had with a friend of many years. We don't get to see each other very much and this was the perfect place for us to go to! The only thing that I will mention, that definitely needs renovating, is most of the place. They really need new chairs. That is quite apparent and hope that they renovate and soon!
We enjoyed some nachos while we watched the jays win against the Orioles. Very nice servers; nachos were just ok.
Food: The nachos came in a big serving but we're disappointing in that there wasn't a lot of topping variety and WAYYY too much cheese. But we enjoyed them, stripped the cheese off and ate most of the nacho chips. The beer was good :)
Service: Very nice servers. A bit busy and stretched then, but it didn't affect the service and we had a lovely time.
Price: Nachos were $15. For that they should have been more impressive and not reminiscent of something thrown together at home after a night of drinking. But the beer was reasonable at $6 for a pint of Keiths :)
Summary: A nice place in the Church Street area with great service. Pretty standard otherwise; doesn't really stand out but it does have lots of patio space so it is def worth it if you can get a table in the beautiful summer air :)
Tasty Pub style food with a big patio. Nice spot for a late afternoon beer and bite. The patio is south facing so you can enjoy both sun and shade. Rainbow friendly. Cheers
Good hot chicken wings. Paid a pretty penny for them. However, it was Pride! I think they have a $6 wing special on Tuesdays. Def worth it. Give 'em a try.
Awesome menu and home cooked food. No frozen box food here. Great service with new patio. Check it out for brunch, dinner or late evening snack. Very easy on the eyes and wallet.
Food is not that great....But nice place for some late night drinks. Staff are very friendly.
