First time ordering. I tried a new Thai place cause the other place I was ordering was cheap on meat. This place had lots of meat and veggies. But I agree with others had more of a Chinese feel to it.
After being closed for 11 months, they're finally reopened with a chic look and warm welcome! My spouse and I dined in the other day and received amazing customer service as well as fresh, quality, and extraordinary food. We will definitely return!
Great Curry. We were a group of 8. At first we tried to look for other places around the neighbourhood, because the place was empty and we wondered if their food was good or not, at tje end we decided to give them a try. we made a good decision. The waiter was very friendly and very helpful, my girlfriend and I share a chicken phad thai and a red curry beef. The sizes for the dishes are pretty big and the prices were fair. The curry was perfect for me, not too spicy, vegetables very totally fresh and had lots of them. I love brocollis!. Everyone has dirreferent preferances for phad thais, but we liked ours.
Ordered delivery and the service was great. We got pad Thai, which was a huge portion and tasted good. We also ordered the hot and sour soup, which was excellent. Delivery arrived in a decent amount of time.
I recently moved here from, here Manchester, England 5 years ago. in Canada ive never had a good curry, problem was i was always ordering from Indian places. It seems they cant make a good curry in this Country. Anyways point being i tried the Masala from Red Chilli Thai and IT WAS SIMPLY AMAZING........... Perfectly cooked Veg, the sauce was Creamy Sweet with a bit of a kick and tender soft chicken, one thing i would say though is that its not a typical masala, i would compare it to more of a Korma. BEING A CERTIFIED CHEF I HAVE A GOOD GRASP ON WHAT GOOD FOOD IS, AND RED CHILLI THAI KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, AT LEAST WHEN IT COMES TO THE MASALA. I live in a near-by apartment above the place so i always take out, and when i go to pick it up it always seems empty and Im puzzled as to why, Perhaps its the location? Perhaps dining experience as a whole, im not quite sure. Hopefully this review will help generate some buisness for them, ITS THE LEAST I CAN DO FOR THEM CONSIDERING THEY GAVE ME THE BEST MASALA CURRY IVE EVER EATEN IN TORONTO, AND THERE FOR CANADA. Thanks Red Chilli Thai keep doing what your doing, Christian Till.....
Amazing! Order from them direct.... This is the second time I've ordered from here and I'm more than impressed. We ordered: green curry chicken, spring rolls, thai spicy shrimp and because we spent over $25.00 we got a free chicken pad thai! My boyfriend is very picky and ususally makes me order Chinese food so he can have lots of fried breaded chicken (gross) but he actaully said he liked this much better because it wasn't greasy (ya, I know).
*Money saving tip* the first time ordered from there I used Justeat.ca but you don't get any freebies that way. This time it cost me $29.26 in total for everything (because the chicken pad thai was free), it would have been $40.50 (before tax) if I would have used Justeat.
...we ordered quite a bit of food from the Red Chilli Thai Restaurant on the Danforth in Toronto. I think it was forth or fifth time we’ve order food from that restaurant and as usual the food was delicious. I particularly love their Mango Chicken dish. It’s delicious.
Id rank this in the good cheap eats category. I took the chicken pad thai and they have lots of lunch special options. Not a bad spot. Would it be a go to for thai food - probably not. (Unless i could be convinced otherwise)
