Great burgers and fries. No surprises. Clean bathrooms. Parking lot for the mall it is in is, however, a complete $h*tshow. Try to avoid Saturdays.
I got what I expected: A reasonably good mid-range burger at higher-than-desired prices. Lunch found us at South St. Burger, and I ordered the Mushroom & Swiss Burger Combo from their "Signature" menu. With a 4 oz burger, fries and drink, the combo was $11.50 + tax.
The burger was properly cooked, and the "sautéed" mushrooms (pre-cooked, sitting in small, covered, stainless steel soup pot) tasted good. Since South St. Is owned by New York Fries, the fries were done right, as expected.
I've had a South Street Burger once before - one of the signature burgers - but the true test is to taste a burger with the simplest of toppings so as not to pull too much focus away from the meat....so I had the 4oz and a few of your standard condiments. Happy that the beef patty was juicy, consistent from what I remembered. Prices are a bit steep if you compare it to McDonald's, but the difference is in the quality and taste.
Chicken Burger on Whole Grain Bun. Generous patty and fresh whole grain bun. Lots of free toppings to make it just right.
Good burger and Fries.. Delicious burgers, with tons of toppings. Outstanding New York Fries. Price is elevated above other chains. Will visit again.
One of the best!. I had one of the best burgers I've ever tasted here!...and the NYFries were pretty good too!
Best in Town!. I'm sure there will be some that disagree with me, but for me, South Street is the gold standard for me. I LOVE IT.
Awsome burgurs on top of the always delicious New York fries. On top of this they have a never Ending amount of toppings. The huge downfall of this burger joint is the PRICE! They will break your balls here. Stll good for a treat
Delicious burgers at a slightly elevated price that is well worth it. It is fast service that does not feel like the average fast and impersonal dining experience that is common amongburger joints. A true pleasure. Excellent food.
In my burger I got: wasabi mayo, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and guacamole. Satya had cajun onions, chipotle BBQ sauce, hot peppers, swiss cheese & bacon. Man, he gobbled his burger so fast I didn't get a chance to take a picture and he just kept raving about how good his burger was while eating it. Bonus! They even have milkshakes but it was too cold to have one but I will one day! We will definitely be back!
