Hidden Gem. I have been a fan of Oakwood for quite some time now. The pizza is cooked with a thin crust and is always very crispy and flavorful. There is just the right amount of sauce on the pizza as well. The only gripe is that the toppings are on the small side but I can honestly say this is one of the best in the city. I have also had the veal sandwiches and they are served on a lightly toasted bun which is both fresh and crunchy. The sauce once again was just the right amount and the peepers and mushrooms included were very tasty

The pizza was very pleasant. Good service... Cheap, the prices are so cheap. This is my new favourite pizza place and this was my first time trying it.

Great pizza and panzo. Good wholesome home-made tomato sauce. Would recommend it to anyone. Panzos are baked not fried and the dough is delicious. Good authentic cuisine with an authentic Italian-family feel.

I have been a customer at Oakwood Pizza since 1975.
Since 1976 I have been driving from Barrie to Toronto just to visit Oakwood Pizza.
Toronto is Lucky to have such a great restaurant, the best home made pizza I have found.
I wish they would open one in Barrie.
I highly recommend a visit.
