A month ago we were looking for a new place to eat for our anniversary. We ended up going to Tenoch on a whim during a freak snow storm. We had their signature Tenoch torta and it was delicious. We had a few other tasty things but that was by far the standout (don't worry the imposible dessert is delicious too) Since then my better half has mentioned the tasty epic sandwich on multiple occasions and for the start of our weekend today I took the hint. I traveled 40 minutes each way via the TTC (the restaurant is right near Oakwood ave along the 512 streetcar route) to collect our dinner (alright dinner and another meal tomorrow) and it's worth it yet again. If you don't believe me, you'll just have to go yourself! An awesome example of a family run place with delicious food. Go.

I love the place! Feels like any down the corner restaurant in Mexico City. Enchiladas are great. You can drink Jarritos and Sangria. If you miss some tacos, this is the place! Service is a bit slow, but understandable.
