It Is What It Is. Open late, large menu with expected "pub" favorites such as burgers, fries, wings, salads and pizza. Great place to have a beer with friends or to watch a game. Don't expect "white glove" service... it's a local bar/restaurant, but it IS kid friendly and the staff is nice.
Skip the wings on wing night... they're too crispy, but the burgers are good and the fajitas are too. Beer selection features popular Canadian/American beers. Prices are reasonable. It's one of those "Hey, let's grab a bite to eat" type of places. There's certainly something on the menu for everyone.
Great Pub!. Look, it's a Gabby's menu which is what it is. It's pub food, not too many options but just enough. But the beer is cold (especially on Tall Boy Tuesdays!), the place is clean and, my favourite part of all, they have the Rogers Sports Package which means all out-of-town NHL games (and MLB, NFL etc)!
Have been 3 times since the Missus moved in to the neighbourhood and it is officially my new favourite bar for sports!
Staff have been really friendly and KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM THE TVs!! Respect.
Gabby's has been a self-professed local landmark in Toronto for over 25 years offering typical pub food including burgers, fries, poutine, BBQ and even pizza. Their wing specials (offered Monday and Wednesday) still draws a crowd, but the selection of beer is disappointing.
Still, for a place to meet friends or watch the game at, Gabby's offers a large enough menu that you're likely to find something you like and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun.
