Love the food plus the food is so full of flavor. Go back again for sure.
Surprisingly good food. Best in the area at the very least and even better than a good number in Bloor Koreatown. Fresh, well cooked seafood. Interesting, flavourful sauces.
dre: We introduced Korean food to a very Canadian coworker and she loved the dolsot bibimbap! This little Korean restaurant is on Yonge Street, just south of Bloor. The service was quick, even though it was quite busy. On another time I came back, I wanted to try the pork bone soup, but they said it wasn't ready yet. It was 12:30pm! Boo... maybe one day I will go for a mid afternoon snack or early dinner to try the pork bone soup.
nice place to have hot spicy food after watching film in Bloor cineplex. octopuses Hot pot there is pretty good. It also have lots of beef. The prize is fair enough
The food was good, I got a pretty huge amount of Bibimbap and it was pretty good as well. Though, it would have been great if their dinner and lunch menu was available all day.
Stumbled upon Miss Korean Restaurant & Bar with Iris the other night after shopping in the Yorkville area (if you don't know who Iris is, she was featured in our Zomato Meet Up video. Make sure you go ahead and check it out by clicking HERE!). What drew us in was their rustic / factory style decorations, which you wouldn't normally expect from a Korean restaurant. One side of the wall consisted of exposed bricks, while the other side was decorated with intricate drawings of wine bottles.
Miss Korea offers a simple menu of dishes and alcohol, but also set combos should you fancy both. A typical combo would include one dish, and a choice of Soju, 4 beers, 2 cocktails, or Makgurli.
Me, Justine ( @foodigatorJ ) and Mary ( @citrusblack ) tried to come out for dinner and drinks from time to time to catch up and we tend to go to Korean restaurant. It's just great, no fuss and catch up kind of meal. We decided to try out the newly open Miss Korea ( @MISSKOREA_BAR ) on Yonge & Bloor, nothing better than a bit of shopping before a meal. The space is definitely different from the Korean Restaurant that we are used to in Toronto. It's "hipper" looking with the round stainless steel tables and stools where you can open up to store your bag/coat inside. Just like most Korean restaurant, they have a few Combo to choose for where they include some alcohol drinks ~ choose from Soju / 4 Beer / Makgurli / 2 Cocktails We end up ordering 3 combo with 2 Makgurli and 4 Beers (#KoreanDrinking) Deep Fried Chicken Ddong-Jip (Gizzard) ~ $23.98 Combo or $10.00 Regular We usually order the sweet and spicy DF chicken but since all of us love gizzards, this was an obvious choice. Love the
Standard selection of Korean food. I believe I payed for the ambience, which is a setup akin to the food tents found off the street in Korea- stools and a stainless steel table top which can promote a feeling of nostalgia and familiarity. Great place to throw back drinks with friends, and the service was friendly and attentive. Good, lively vibe with big TV's.
