Must defend!. I have to disagree with both statements, yeah is does cater for a drinking crown.. after all it is an Irish pub, it that not what the irish culture is about! having a few drinks and food with friends and having some fun.
As for the restaurant aspect, the place has been full during the weekdays I have been there. I have tried a good few items off the menu, which i loved, and if i didn't like some ingredients they were more than accommodating to me allowing me alter menu items. really like the place and furthermore most staff are awesome!!

Fionn MacCools has various locations and each one I have been to has impressed me. Having been here a several occasion and recommend it to everyone, I thought I would write about my most recent visit.

A friend and I walked in for some post work drinks and a couple apps on a Wednesday afternoon. The room was a buzz with happy hour crowd enjoying a pint and a laugh. While we were sat next to a table of rather boisterous individuals, I came to not be annoyed but rather infected with their spirit. We were promptly greeted by our waitress for the evening whom I could not have been happier with. She informed us of the specials that night (Wine Down Wednesdays – $2 off an 8 oz glass or $5 off a bottle) and was very helpful when it came to picking out a couple sharable apps.

My friend and I shared a plate of Blarney Chips and an order of Samosas. The samosas were veggie and not too spicy, while the Blarney Chips were like nachos except the chips were replaced with lattice fries.

Our waitress was very attentive and we never felt as if we had been forgotten even though at one point we were hidden against a wall and surrounded by people.

I highly recommend this place for any kind of casual occasion you may have coming up.
