We went to The Quail (Firkin Pub) to watch the TFC game. The restaurant was not overcrowded so we were able to get a good spot and the service was great. They changed the TV just for us and our orders (food and drinks) came out fast. The Firkin burger was good though I prefer it medium-rare than medium-well. it comes with fries and 3 onion rings (both were a bit too oily and greasy). A nice spot to spend few hours for a sport night
I went there last week late one night and ordered the grilled veggie and goat cheese salad. Best. Salad. Ever. It was absolutely amazing I've never had a salad so good before - the cheese was nested in the middle of the salad and was warm/melted, there was couscous on top, and the perfect amount of dressing and nuts throughout. I got the small for $9 and it was more than enough. I will definitely go back!
Greatly improved. Have eaten here several times over the last few years. Enjoyed the renovated restaurant and updated menu. Recommend the Yorkies and chicken curry. Service has always been good when I visit.
Nice Firkin Pub, lots of unique Victorian furniture and a cool union jack couch. Great service, friendly staff, and not too busy during the day. The classic greek salad here is great, but I really, really love the grilled vegetables on naan appetizer: AMAZING and perfect. Looks like a fun place to be at night, so I'll definitely have to come later in the day next time.
