I really love the feel of this bakery the staff are sweet and so are the goodies to eat. Bought 2 chocolate chip cookies to go one with pecans the other not and 4 cupcakes mine's was chocolate with vanilla frosting and a cookie dough on top. The cookies are on the crumble side so keep in mind one of the best I've ever tasted and the cupcake was equally up to par
Breakfast bagel (egg, ham, cheese) was quite good. Props for having a GF bread/bagel that's not super dense! Their coffee was solid. Treat options looked varied. Super friendly staff. Would definitely come back, will try the treats next time.
There are only a few foods I claim to be an expert on, and cookies are near the top of that list.
After trying the chocolate chip and double chocolate cookies at Almond Butterfly this weekend, they immediately shot up to near the top of my Best in Toronto list.
Just the right combination of chewy and chunky, sweet without being overpowering, dense without without being heavy. Top notch. And they were somehow gluten-free, which is like whoa.
There will be plenty more of Almond Butterfly's cookies in my future. Yours too if you know what's good for you.

Best cupcakes around. I've ordered from Almond Butterfly twice now, and both times was incredibly impressed by how delicious everything was. You'd never know they were gluten-free or dairy-free, let alone both. Service was great as was the price for the high quality ingredients. I STRONGLY recommend!

Best gluten free bagel ever!
Both my sister and I are trying to adjust to a gluten free lifestyle, and we both really miss baked goods! We haven't had a chance to try many gluten free bakeries and restaurants. This was our first time eating a gluten free cupcake and we were so happy we did! The cake is moist and the icing not too sweet. We tried the strawberry and zucchini cupcakes. Both were great! We also had an iced americano, and we could tell they are serious about their coffee as well. The guy at the cashier was friendly and informative. I give this place 5 stars :).
This is a charming little place on Harbord which offers gluten free baked goods and lunch/breakfast items. The staff was really friendly and pleasant to their customers. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere as well.
The Grilled Turkey Bagel was absolutely delicious. I could tell that she put a lot of effort into it. The pesto and cheddar were excellent additions! Really, I would buy this again and again. This bagel really sold me.
I definitely recommend this place for a quick bite or somewhere to sit and work while enjoying some coffee and a cupcake.
