My go to place for taro bubble tea. Quick service, polite staff and competitive prices.
The QQ mango juice is pretty good too.
Overall recommended.
Although I'm yet to try most of the flavors.
Huge variety of bubbletea, runs a bit on the expensive side but is well worth it for the quality. The lineups are long and the place is cramped. If you're lucky you can snag a seat with friends and enjoy, otherwise it's best to take it to go. I really enjoyed the mango green tea with rainbow jelly, although next time I'd skip the jelly or ask for lychee instead since the jellies they provided were flavourless. Roasted milk tea is a classic, and you can't go wrong if you're not into drinks that are too sweet.
Toronto has a plethora of bbt options. Chatime stands out as a place where it finally feels like you are drinking real non powdered tea. One of the more consistent quality places that I have frequented.
Consistent, tasty, quick. Chatime is the reason I started having bubble tea again. I'm almost happy that summer is coming to an end (no I'm not) since soon I won't have to fight the urge to walk downstairs to splurge on this (30%) sweet cooling goodness every goddam day.
One note: Their red beans were sorta mushy and overly sweet in the couple times I tried it. Not my thing. But if you like that texture, then you're in luck.
Another note: Roasted milk tea is da bomb. Roasted version is a lot more flavourful than the regular one.
This is one of the better Chatimes in town. I always go for the #2 special - roasted milk tea with grass jelly, 30% sugar, with less ice. I wouldn't recommend going more than 50% sugar, as I generally find their drinks already pretty sweet.
