Authentic Japanese place - I recommend it if you're looking for the real thing. Many of the patrons are Japanese themselves, which is considered a good sign.
The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is solid & comforting, I would recommend you to try any kind of tempura, it's really worth it.
The washroom is outside around the corner what is a bit inconvenient.

Real japan. This is a hidden gem amongst the restaurants at Yonge And Bloor. Once you know your way to Kitchen, it will keep you coming back for more. If you like Japanese Curry style and other food.
Owner who does the japanese curry concotion mix is also a good chat. It is one of the places with closer taste to home if you like the Japanese style cooking. The Japanese style curry is also somewhat interesting.
They also sell homemade onigiri once a while. Keeps be going back ever so often.

Been here twice. Staff is friendly and fast. Had mostly the cooked Japanese food - I have to say the quality and taste here are amazing. The sashimi is great here too.

Katsu curry was delicious and nicely portioned. Salmon teriyaki bento box is flavourful and there's a lot of variety and portion when it comes to the tempura. The only drawback is the portion of salmon is quite small. They try to make up with it on the variety and amount of tempura provided and with the rice, but if you're looking for protein look elsewhere.

The restaurant is actually attached to a green P parking lot and there is paid parking on the street - so parking is not an issue - especially since this is so close to Yonge and Bloor. Note that Charles street is one way (you can only drive westward) so plan your route accordingly if you are taking the car.

I can also confirm that the bathrooms are actually not attached to the restaurant - they're accessed via keys and they're in the parking building. Haven't been, but rather odd in the design.

Will go here to eat again and would recommend this quaint restaurant for its food.

So nostalgic. Food is similar to the mom-and-pop shops in Japan. Feelings of nostalgia always wash over me when I dine here. Love it!

Good!. Was planning to go koyoi bit there was full so randomly walked in tokyo kitchen after checking on rating from urban spoon. Sirprisly the recommend dishes from the server were all good in taste. Love it and will definitely come back again!

Quaint and yummy. Great place we happened upon. Has quite the selection of sake at really cheap prices. Note, they come in shots as opposed to bottles, so you can try a bunch of them as opposed to being stuck with one.

Sashimi was fresh, and the tempura was a really good deal. Give the maguro natto a try if you're feeling adventurous.
