Foods are fresh, tasted good and good portion. The place is cozy with friendly service.

the food was wonderful, the bento box was tasty and gorgeous to look at. the sushi was fresh and made to perfection. Our server, "Sunny" was attentive and efficient, She also had a good sense of humour. i highly recommend this restauraunt

In terms of your run in the mill Americanized-Japanese sushi spot... This place deserves a 5/5.
But because this is a comparison to all restaurants, in general, I gave it a 3.5.
The service was quick and very friendly. Our waitress always had a smile on her face, was very polite and accommodating... and most importantly, attentive.
Their serving sizes are large for the price and the quality of the food is great. I ordered the beef ribs bento and was surprised at how much beef the lunch bento had at only $9.99. The beef was also cooked to perfection and the marinade was not overly sweet or salty. It also had a smokey grilled taste!
The miso soup was flavourful. Their take on the ginger dressing had a hint of mango and their sushi was fresh, although on the smaller size.
Honestly, you shouldn't expect much from sushi places in Toronto that serve "bento boxes" but this place was a gem.
Based on this single experience, I would highly recommend it.
