I love Allan's Pastry Shop! They focus on Jamaican patties and have a few sweet treats and other pastries as well. I love getting their curry goat patty and the spicy beef patty which isn't very spicy for me. Their pastry is so flaky and soft. They have a ton of business as every time I go, there is always people there. It's also best to go earlier so that they don't run out of what you'd like to try. I had tried their coconut pastry and the plantain pastry as well which I didn't enjoy. I'd stick to their patties. They also have discounts when you purchase more than one. You can also purchase their patties without being cooked, take it home and cook it when you feel like eating it. This place has been around for a long time, but I just discovered it. Great Pastry shop in Markham.

Allan’s on Kennedy North of McNicoll serves up a mean Jamaican patty for an affordable $1.09 + tax! Delicious freshly baked patties are definitely worth the wait. Patience is a virtue!
