Bolt Fresh Bar on Queen just west of Beaconsfield is a lovely take out fresh food and juice bar along with sandwiches and sweets as pictured served by helpful and friendly staff
Great place on Queen West for a quick lunch. Lots of amazing healthy salads and juices! Got the rainbow salad with the zesty dressing which was super fresh. Would definitely come back to try more!
My new favorite place to get a healthy, well portioned grain bowl for a busy day. My favorite is the Protein Bowl with Tahini. Decently priced for a lunch these days, and more so impressed with the generous portion in comparison to other 'health food' bars that are popping up.
Small but thoughtful menu at this great WQW take-out alternative. Less pricey than Fresh, bowls are big, filling, tasty, and convenient. The smoothies are par for the course -- totally adequate. Their bowls are where they shine -- for both taste and value.
In a city full of sad, overpriced salads Bolt is breath of fresh air. Simple food. Delicious smoothies. All of the vegetables. The zesty green dressing is unreal and the tofu is maybe the best I've ever had. Best spot on queen west to grab a wholesome lunch or dinner at a reasonable price.

“This is the best smoothie I have ever had,” and I inhaled it in a matter of seconds. I don’t doubt that the man sitting next to me on the streetcar wasn’t impressed with my annoying slurping…but I was too busy watching it slowly disappear into my stomach/ planning my next trip to Bolt Fresh Bar.
This is a great vegetarian take out place on Queen West...if you can find it! I must have driven by it a dozen times before I finally saw the sign on the window. Glad I did though.
I had the quinoa bowl ($10) and they were generous with their portions of: quinoa, kale, avocado, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slivers, cabbage, soy sprouts, tempeh (I added that) + tahini dressing.
The girls were patient and informative behind the counter. They even let me sample one of their cold pressed juices - their beet juice, in particular. Wow, was that ever refreshing and now I think I love beet juice! Well worth the find and will definitely return again soon.
