At the last minute i decided to have a Chinese New Year dinner with my sons and their girlfriends. One of the girls suggested this place and I’m glad she did!
We got there and the restaurant was packed! Good sign!
We had a reservation and they took us immediately.
We placed our order and the food came quickly. The food was delicious!
The meals are well portioned and tasty! Taste of China is open late and has become a go-to spot for me after a night on the town. Nothing fancy - just good food.
“There were blue metal chairs and basic tables both rectangular and circular with numerous layers of plastic table cloths probably to make the cleaning easier. The walls were light green and beige with dark wooden elements and an authentic floral patterned carpet. “
“We had their Spicy Filet Mignon with Broccoli. This was a heavier dish, yet the way the thinly sliced beef was prepared made it very tender. The steamed broccoli made a bed where the beef lied, mixed in with a bean sauce, spicy red peppers and some green ones.”

Cheap and delicious. Open all hours of the day and night, a reliable place to get a tasty and filling meal for a good price. If you're looking for award winning service you're at the wrong place. I've never had an issue despite coming here for years.
Tasty at taste of. Have been going to T of C on and off for many years. Visited again yesterday and was impressed by the food and condition of the facility. Had shanghai noodle , fried rice and the half bbq duck was exceptionally good. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive.
All hours. This place is open all night long and offers delivery too. The food, take-out or dine in, is excellent. Favorites of mine include moo shu chicken and general tao shrimp. Bland atmosphere, efficient service.
This place is opened to 5am! Food was delicious with out being too greasy. Well seasoned and speedy service. Taste of china indeed.

So good.. For somebody who rarely visits Chinatown, it can be nerve-wracking to choose a good restaurant given the concentration of restaurants to choose from, so I was understandably entering this place. Wasn't expeci=ting too much, but was pleasantly surprised. The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. We first ordered the Mushroom and egg drop soup (so-so). For the main course, we ordered Sizzling Szechuan Fish Fillet (highly recommended), which was amazing. It isn't TOO spicy, on the tangy side. The other dish we ordered was the Shrimp in Onions & Pepper in black bean sauce. These two dishes complemented each other very nicely, as the latter was on the spicier side. Finally, we also ordered Fried veggie noodles, which were extremely good. The waiters can be described as expressionless but very competent. Not at all friendly, nor rude. Robotic is accurate in describing them. Then again, this is to be expected at most Chinese restaurants. Nothing to complain about, at least for me. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and again.

The General Tao chicken and Shanghai noodles are delicious. Very generous portions for such a small price!!!
Highly recommend. They are open late so great spot after the bars!
By far my favorite restaurant in Chinatown. Though they specialize in seafood, they offer a variety of dishes, all of which are excellent. The recent renovation has greatly improved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the portions served a large enough to share. Everyone I take here, always come back. I highly recommend it.
