Saturdays are the best days to try out market fare at St Lawrence. I've been a regular at Carcinero's and love all they prepare. My favourites are the burritos, turkey legs and the other sandwiches.

Tried their new sugar glaze bacon sandwich which was great. 8 bucks only and absolutely loved it.

Carcineros is definitely a place to try out if ever you're in the area or in the market

I've passed Carnicero's several times - pretty much every time I've been to the St Lawrence Market. It's actually a butcher shop that also whips out a few easy-to-eat-on-the-go kinds of food. I've had the pulled pork sandwich here and it's to die for. Soft, tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned and blended with some kind of bbq sauce. And to give a bit of texture, you have the option of having slaw added to it as well. I guess that should ease the amount of guilt (if at all) of having more than a fistful of pulled pork between two buns :)
