I went to this place for an interesting reason.. "Mundo lingo" in The second floor. A beautiful meeting for practice languages of all the world with people from all the world!!! Tuesdays.
If you are looking for a local and quaint sports bar, this is the place for you. They have recently revamped their menu and completed some much needed renovations. Tonight I enjoyed the spinach and gruyere cheese dip with a baguette. It was a perfect nosh with some cheap $5 beers.
Wow! I am really impressed. I have eaten here a few times before and really enjoyed the food (fresh cut fries, sandwich loaded with peameal), but my first dinner here tonight will make this place my local bar! Had the Davisville Club, which was advertised as a grilled chicken sandwich with gruyere cheese and peameal bacon. The real kicker was the chicken was a breast of succulent rotisserie chicken, and the flavour explosion that are the pickled baby tomatoes made this a meal I will be craving until I come back! Add to that the Thirsty Thursdays has $4 pints and the sandwich and fries was only $13, and I have been won over. Trust a fat guy, this place ROCKS!!!
