Great tasting pot soups with authentic Korean flavour. Very good selection of dishes as well. As a Korean guy, I strongly recommend this place. :)
Me and my friends went there the first time, we wanted to eat pancake but I couldn't eat Onion, so the staffs prefer us Kimchi pancake which was tasting awesome. The next dish we had was hot pot, I don't remember the name but it had some Kimchi, slice beef and intestine. I could say it was the best Korean hot pot that I have eaten.
Great Korean BBQ Place!. My boyfriend and I were walking down Bloor Street West and were craving Korean BBQ. We happened to stop by at this place. The place itself is tiny, but large enough to sit comfortably. We were given a table in the middle of the restaurant. We both chose AYCE. The man then came to bring us the grill and started it up for us. He brought over the meat and started putting it on the grill for us. I thought this was a nice touch; I had never been to a Korean BBQ place where they put your meat on the grill for you and turn it over for you. He continued to do this until we told him that we might not be able to eat it all, so he stopped. He was very kind and considerate, and we appreciated the friendly service that he showed to us. The food was pretty good, I would have liked if there was fish, such as shrimp, squid, etc. If I had to choose Korean BBQ once again, I would definitely come back to this place!
Excellent food. Never a bad dish at this exceptional family run establishment which is run by a most hospitable family. Onion dumplings are outstanding! A+
The service is fast and friendly, you get a ton of sides with your order and the atmosphere is delightful. The black bean noodles are amazing.
Real Korean food at its best. Bring a few friends and order several dishes family style for best results. You can't go wrong
Cozy seating and generous appetizers. We didn't order an appetizer here, and thank goodness! They brought 8 or so mini appetizers for us before our meals came -- kimchee and various other spicy and non-spicy items.
We were both pleased with our meals, and had no complaints about the service.
Each table was very private, in its own booth of sorts. Quite nice.
I personally don't think I'd be in a *rush* to return, but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to go back either.
This was an extensive menu, It was hard to decide what to eat. It's more on the $ end of korean food. Usually would find Kamjatang for $6 while here is around 9$. They have combos with noodles + side dish (like bulgogi/ribs) ranging from 10-15$, which is a good option.
