Decent food but expensive. Went with a group of friends, we all loved our food but all found it to be a pricey for what it was. i understand that we mostly ordered tapas, but still pricey for tapas. food was pretty awesome but the service unfortunately didn't quite match the food.
also, we were a group of 5 women and the server didn't split the bills which i always find to be a negative in a restaurant.
that being said, i'd probably get take-out from here and maybe not eat-in.
Fun Cuban tapas place with the best guacamole in the city... All 3 of the shrimp tapas dishes are great, as is the sangria.

A hidden gem in the big city. Hidden amongst the residential houses on Dovercourt- Julie's Cuban is a must visit in the hot summer for an outdoor seat on the small patio. Sip mojitos and enjoy the neighborhood charm of a big city. The tiny patio is best for couples or groups of 4. This is one to visit for the atmosphere- the food is 3/5. Best to plan on dinner at 5:30pm with a reservation.
If restaurants can charge for the atmosphere then Julies is in good shape. It's a small slice of small carribean town in a trendy upcoming neighborhood. If you're just payin for the food though, stick to the nachos and gauc, they're outstanding on a menu of decent food at exceptional prices.
Authentic food, drinks and décor. Apps were small and food a little over priced, but worth the experience at least once!
